I was so excited to see a playthrough on this from you! I haven't seen much coverage on this game but its a new favorite for me! I've only played the multiplayer version so far but now I definitely want to try the solo mode.

Do you record the audio and video at the same time? Sometimes I feel you narrate the game because the sound you get on your voice. It’s really good.

Yes, all the recording (except for the intro B-Roll stuff) is recorded at the same time as the video. I don't script anything. I do a lot of editing, so I sometimes tweak the timings of things to line up better, cover up long pauses, etc. I put in a lot of time editing in order to attempt to create a certain feel and flow. I'm also using a podcast style mic, so I'm getting a voiceover sound rather than an "in room" sound like from a shotgun or lav. I know nothing about audio, I just try to make it clear. @@TotallyTabled you do a pretty good job at that! The mic is getting the effect I hear, probably. I think it’s a good sound and it fits your whole presentation quite well.

@@shinjial Thanks, that's good to hear. It is fairly inexpensive, at least as mics go -- an old RODE NT-USB Mini. At some point I hope to upgrade, but I love how easy it is to record straight into my laptop. Anyway, thank you for the feedback!

@@useryt182 The USB mic I use has a bit of a built-in pop filter, I believe. I use the RODE Connect software on my laptop to capture the audio and sync it in post. I use a few settings on that software -- noise gate, compressor and Big Bottom and I have the levels set to 25. That is really it. I don't adjust it in DaVinci Resolve, mostly because I don't understand how. I try to keep my workflow as simple and quick as possible, so this audio setup has served me well. No need to overcomplicate things. Hope that helps!
