Today I'm fabricating a custom zenith SD glareshield. In Episode 41 I mentioned that I was having difficulty fitting the glareshield. Aside from the holes along the firewall not lining up, there were a couple of issues I wanted to fox. So, from my boxes of aluminum I purchased years ago when I was going to scratch build a single seat Hummelbird kitplane, I happen to have a 4' x 6' sheet of .025 6061 T6! I used that to make the new glareshield.
