Precisely why GB is my fave. No formula. Their style is the definition of organic. I love their insistence on letting things play out as they will, of not letting a record company tell them what to record, and most of all their sheer talent and enjoyment of the craft of making music.

Daniel Rossen came up with guitar riffs around drum parts because of course he can. Jazz Guitarist, Daniel Rossen, Something drew me to GB when I would hear them and I strongly believe DR is responsible for a the chord progression and time signature changes I've come to like and look forward to in GB. Top dude.

Daniel is a really good accomplished musician as well as the other members of the band and you could tell it by the quality of their composing and arrangements and by their live performances and it is definitely not something that you can take for granted from an indie band.
