I did a bit of research on the McCracken family. Turns out Robert and Phyllis were married almost 60 years and passed away 2 days apart. Robert passed away on Feb 13 after battling cancer for a number of years and Phyllis passed away Feb 15 after suffering a stroke 6 months earlier. Together, they owned a local motel for a number of years before turning the operation over to one of their sons in the '90s. They were well known and beloved in the community for their fundraising efforts every year on St. Patrick's Day of hosting a party of Irish Stew and beer; proceeds were donated to local causes including local citizen's medical expenses after an accident, local schools & students, library, etc. Their son, Shawn, passed away after his parents in 2010 as Shawn is listed as one of the survivors. Be safe & take care!

Wow that is incredibly sad a whole family gone just mere days/months apart. I'm sure the wife died of a broken heart and the son I wonder what happened to him that is just heartbreaking. The loss of three people in less than a year. Did it say how the son passed away?

Katherine Grace Gaylord - I found her obituary from July 27, 1950... "Fennville (Special) -- Katherine Grace Gaylord, 8, only child of Mr. & Mrs. John Gaylord, died Sunday morning July 23, in Bronson Hospital, Kalamazoo, where she had been for two weeks. Cause of death was believed to be leukemia, which may have developed after the child had measles. She was born February 7, 1942, and attended the Fennville school. Surviving besides the parents are two grandparents, Mrs. Caroline Haan of Grand Rapids, and Wayne Leverich of Fennville.

My 2 closest friends that I have known since birth - one died of a rare disease 4 years ago this October. The other one - 47 years old - never smoked, never drank - one of the best human beings that I have ever known - had a massive stroke in February. He survived, but is paralyzed on his left side and they have said that the right side of his brain is completely dead. He is still in the hospital and will probably never walk again. One of the saddest things I have ever witnessed. The old adage of why bad things happen to such good people...I will never understand it.

The McCracken's deaths are true a tragedy for the family. The father died Feb 13 at home, the mother died Feb 15 in the hospital & then the son. (Who is listed in Mrs McCracken's obituary among the surviving family.) Such a blow in the course of a couple weeks.

The minute or two you use to explain a loss of life that possibly should not have occurred hopefully will help our younger generations to think about drinking and driving, using drugs or becoming part of a gang. Yes...useless loss of life following a poor decision. Please travel safe Lamont, and continue your excellent work.

I met your channel through Dee, and I love this channel. I have lost so many friends along this journey in life. My son is a Combat Veteran, as is a few cousins, nephew and neighbors children. They don't get much recognition, especially the fallen. I want to tell you thank you for picking up the flags, cleaning off the graves and telling their stories. I can tell you're a sensitive/ empath. It's almost as if you feel some their Spirits. You are correct about waking up each day, and being thankful and humble. It is a gift. I have lost many friends at such young ages, so I am proud to say I am 53, soon to approach my 54th birthday, because a lot of my friends and some family, didn't make it to that age, including my own father, who lost his short battle of cancer at age 42. I was 15. Life changed forever. Keep telling their stories, Xoxo's

He's given me the inspiration to go film my local cemetery, where many friends and neighbors lay at rest. Another cemetery that is supposed to be the most haunted, but when I went years ago, I saw family's buried all within a week of each other, like a sickness got them all. So I think I will look in to a few cemeteries around me. I've always read the stones. One ladies stone read...Are you looking for me? Great inspiration Lamont. I have MS, but love making interesting Content!!

I too Lamont, when I arise & before I go to bed, thank & praise My Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, for life. I have almost died twice. Long medical reasons, too long for here, but I was 36 & 53 yrs. young when the incidents took place. I just celebrated my 58th b-day earlier this month. I cannot begin to express how blessed I am in spite of some physical limitations from my incidents. I have 3 loving children, 2 extra-daughters, & 6 grandchildren!! God is good. I appreciate your ministry & the videos you create. I have thanked you before & I thank-you now again. If you ever get to the Nashville, TN. area, it would be an honor to meet for a meal or cup of coffee. God’s continued blessings.
