Yeah I mean this is an impossible situation in ranked. Purple has 100% of the ore, produces a ton of sheep and pulls mono on dev one when the 8 wheat is coordinated with his 8 ore. Salt in the wound with purple rolling most of the 7s and the 10s rolling hot.

At the end of the day you cant give purple 9-10-11. You needed the wheat to have any kind of game, but red messed up the placements trying to get all the resources. But the 8 wheat block only hurt you as blue had the 10 wheat. Which if you didnt trade that away, that changes the game a bit as well.

so many mistakes this game: not accepting that wood for ns, not going for the 3:1 on the 8, not popping at 13:52 because you don't need another city at that point (devs are better for blocking purple), not asklng for more at 15:47... I mean purple got lucky af so even if you did everything correctly, it probably wouldn't have made much difference

Purple was really lucky but besides the luck blue was just not there this game. It'd have required a lot more self sacrifice on their part and they weren't having it to begin with.

To make the obvious case obvious to blue was just too much. He offered up 2 wood for plow and blue took 2 wood for city then blocked him at 3-1 instead of going for wheat port or devs. Blue was not wanting him to win.

ABH knew his competition and it worked out for him anyways but yeah besides luck I don't think he did anything wrong. Not giving wood for ns is obviously an overture to him but if abh stole he would've in most cases got wheat or sheep or just a wood. It's honestly a decent gamble for a ns, for a nb it'd be different. That and he can't sustain dev game by himself.

But yeah blue was definitely playing against him or for abh. There's no other way to think about that.
