The plug rock is even funnier when you ask yourself a very simple question... _WHY WOULD YOU NEED TO PLUG A ROCK INTO ANYTHING!?_

A couple of points I wanted to add on: 1: Regarding the giant "preflood trees"; I think this might be a reference to a conspiracy I stumbled across once about how there are no "real" trees. Basically, it claims that some modern-day mountains, islands, and plateaus are actually the petrified stumps of gigantic trees that grew miles high thousands of years ago, and would house entire cities and civilizations in their trunks, roots, and branches. But then they were all cut down and destroyed by some unknown agents with highly advanced technology (it's Jews; it's always the Jews), and now the "trees" we see are mere saplings. It's utterly absurd but if you strip away the anti-semitism, it could make a pretty kickass setting for a fantasy story. 2: For those wondering about the guy with the horn growing out the back of his head, this is a case of what are called "cutaneous horns", an uncommon type of skin tumor consisting mostly of keratin (the same material your fingernails are made of) that grows out from the skin in a conical horn shape, though they rarely grow larger than a centimeter. Their exact cause is unknown but it's theorized they're likely caused by radiation/sun exposure, cellular aging, and/or HPV. They can either be benign or malignant, but either way they can be surgically removed.

If it was truly something ancient and significant we would go visit them on school trips or family trips or at least have heard of them. But we don't because they're just pointy hills. there is a condition that can create a horn-looking formation on your head, but it's not true bone and it's made of keratin. i think it's called cutaneous horn. it might also be a kind of wart
@gmhs25 ай бұрын
@@copheemoth Yeah that's correct, it's the same material used in hair and fingernails. It's very rare and there's a whole host of similar issues that occasionally pop up when the body makes the wrong material. The scariest is the extremely rare disorder that slowly converts the muscles to bone.
@concept56313 ай бұрын
@@gmhs2 Yeah you have to constantly work out if you have that bone condition.
@Naixatloz2 ай бұрын
@@concept5631 My understanding is that the thing that triggers bone growth in that condition is damage to the muscles, and since exercise causes microtears to muscles, you absolutely would NOT want to excessively work out if you had stone man disease.

2:34 One time, my dad sent me to picl up a case of CDs/DVDs from a lady on FB Marketplace. When I was checking the case and passed by Avatar, she started going on and on about how mountains and mesas were all ancient trees. She knew they were ttees because the sedimentary lines were "actually" the concentric dating lines from trees. I got stuck listening to this lady go on for like 30 minutes, because i just couldn't believe she actually thought it was real 😂

4:26 I also love that this image is likely a statue of the Buddha(the head is at the very least the same as the ones I see) which implies that 1. Okay quick correction: the Bible doesn't actually say there's Giants. What it does say is that the sons of Seth started relationships with the daughters of Cain. Due to some weird translation stuff it's often confused with giants
@rickcharlespersonal5 ай бұрын
The Bible does mention that giants inhabited the Land of Milk and Honey (Israel) when Moses was leading the Israelites into their Promised Land. Goliath in the story of David and Goliath is also described as a giant. So there are in fact literal giants mentioned in the Bible.

The level of snark is over 9000 BCE. A breath of fresh air. The plug in the rock really felt like it was an art piece as homage to Dr. Seuss. You can imagine Seussian Tech as stuff that holds no visible possible purpose but ultimately has a braindead simple function that only children could think of. This rock with a plug could be the equivalent of hot water in a rubber jug that old people take to bed for their feet (-edit: In a Dr. Seuss world).
