Fade Into You by Mazzy Star cover on Mortone Octave Mandolin

I got attached this song because my friend wanted me to help them learn it and now I've been enjoying playing it a lot myself. I mainly play mandolins more specifically octave mandolins which are an octave lower. this particular mandolin I'm using in the video was a Squier Mini by Fender that was modified into a mandolin by luthier Mortone who added a bridge and two extra tuners to accommodate the two extra strings. I've done a bit of work to it myself, mostly cosmetic stuff.
I got the chords and lyrics from Ultimate Guitar and based my singing and playing style in this performance loosely on a live version of Fade Into You by Mazzy Star.
I obviously don't know the music or lyrics but arguably I own this performance.

I was messing with this on my acoustic octave mandolin today. More fun and less muddy sounding than on guitar.

Cool! I'd like to hear ya play it some time. It's a great song for changing the speed of a set. A nice gentle start but room to build it up intense at the end. When I play it live I tend to get more growly and shouty near the end then fade back out gently. Lately I also have had a friend do a vocal harmony on the chorus which is fun.
