Please do make a video of your Magnetic Coast based full song and how you arranged it for a band. Sounds very interesting. As concerns "little ideas" - I think they are the equivalent to a writer's notes. Every once in a while you flip through your notes and flesh something out.

Hey Jef, I don't know if you already knew this, but in the part where you were doing the ADSR settings, I caught something. You can actually do the "select all" function on the board. Just press the "select" button and on the right screen, you'll see an "all" toggle. Once it's pressed, your setting will be applied to all pads just like you did with the mouse.

Hey Jef, would it be possible for you to do a "sampling" video on tips/tricks on how to manipulate samples in Maschine to make them different and unique from the original. Not necessarily a video on "how to sample", but perhaps the after math on ways to work with a sample in creative ways. I love sampling, but end up struggling with manipulating the sample/chops so they don't sound exactly like the original.

Hey Maurice! I run the audio out of my interface into a Zoom H6 recorder. I tried a program called Loopback, but the latency added was too much for me to play Maschine! I hear there are other options out there that don't have latency and allow you to record the audio internally, but I haven't bothered looking since this works so well. I then have to sync the audio manually afterwards. Next I use FCPX to edit. I used Premiere a long time ago, but FCPX is just so dang fast on my old Mac. Even at 4K. That's how I do it! Here's an older vid with the details: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i5Pan5aufMSKZ7c

Jef, as always: I enjoy watching your expert vids - but I am glad I quit using Maschine right after I bought it almost a year ago (which I never told you). But I use it as a sophisticated soundcard now to drive my external monitors. Learning Maschine was simply too much and complicated and being a linear producing type I never saw how I could integrate this device when composing a 3,5 minute song. BUT I have one important question in regards of your computer equipment: I guess you use an iMac (right?). Please tell me how many RAM you have build in. The reason why I ask: After I upgraded to iOS Catalina my Logic Pro X almost crashes due to lack of RAM left. I only have 8 GB RAM build in. So as my iMac is of 2016 and not to be upgraded I either dispose it off to the bin or (and this is more affordable) I invest a third of the money for a new mac into a sophisticated windows 10 gaming PC with at least 32 GB RAM.
