That a disappointment that they made the accessory set glow in the dark but they didn’t make her eyes glow which should be a standard feature for this character. I love everything else, especially her ear buds to reduce noise - it really reflects her autism. It’s so wonderful that there is openly autistic character development for MonsterHigh and hope more representation continues to come out

The plastic on the legs is to prevent the leg paint from chipping like g3 Lagoona

Twyla’s one of my favorite characters, and favorite g3 redesigns. The only thing I don’t like about her is the pink smoke instead of the grey. Especially the pink hands, it just looks more like painted on gloves than a smokey effect😂the designers could’ve definitely put some more thought into that. But I love that the second pair of shoes are a call back to her og first wave ones! And all the spider accents are actually bed bugs, she’s always had that. It goes with her boogey monster theming!

I bought her on sale on amazon and then came here to watch your review while I wait for her to arrive! I had no idea she is canonically autistic, and I teared up when I saw the ear buds. I wear noise cancelling headphones most of my life. I am so happy to be represented and so excited for the doll to get here! Thank you for your always in depth and detailed reviews, you help me learn a ton about a franchise I am relatively new to!

She is very cute and my favorite in the series ;) I just don't like how flat her hair is, and the smaller bangs. If I do get her I would have to do something with her hair. Normally I would want Draculaura, but they really ruined her outfit and it's so unappealing to me :( Thank you for the review :)

she’s adorable! my biggest critique is the poly hair, but I feel like I’m beating a dead horse at this point, especially since it seems that they’re phasing it out with the newer releases. now I want both of her dolls, so that’s great for my wallet. unrelated, but Garret Sander revealed that Robecca and Venus are canonically in a sapphic relationship! he said they tried to drop hints wherever they could, since Mattel didn’t let them straight-up say they’re dating. I’m so excited about this, I’ve shipped them for so long lol

Yay!!!!! Unboxing!!!! 🥰 I actually DID think creepover Twyla stood out, she didn't get pajamas like the other girls. Angel Loza made me crack up!!! He observed she looked like she just showed up in her dress and crashed the party....in that "smoker's voice" "hey girls...." Just slipped out from under the bed 🤣🤣🤣

I have toralei! Her hair is terrible straight out of the box but with some care it looks really nice. Love the toralei neon frights doll. I also got Frankie which is probs the “worst” Frankie released to me but i still enjoy them. I have ghoulia on the way. Def passing on the draculaura but debating on ghoulia. I truly thought I’d be passing on this entire 3rd skulltimate secret but here i am getting almost all of them 😅

Twyla and Toralei are neck and neck for my fave SS3 dolls, but I'm only getting dolls that speak to me (unless they're on sale) so I'm waiting on G3 Venus. I've seen leaks but I know I'll be on the hunt for when she comes out .

I had to hurry and edit my video this morning so I could watch yours! 😄 It’s so interesting to me how we had some different opinions on her. I didn’t like the thin bangs on the IRL images I saw and would have preferred thicker bangs but I really like the one I got and yours so maybe I don’t mind thinner bangs as much as I though I did or the IRL pics didn’t look as good. Her hands in this iteration is actually better than her core G3 doll which had more maroon looking hands (I tried to show it in my video but I don’t think my camera focused as much as it should have). I knew you’d like the accessories! When you said you didn’t care for accessories, I was thinking “Rainn will like these” and you did 😊 I really thought I read somewhere that her eyes glow in this version too but yeah they don’t which is definitely disappointing. And yes I just love her locker so much! It’s my first Skulltimate Secrets locker and I think it’s such a great first Skulltimate Secrets locker to get! I do want to get Ghoulia as I think her Skulltimate Secrets doll is better than her core G3 doll but I don’t really like much that comes with her so hopefully Target will have her on sale one day. Great video as always and I’m so glad you like her as much as I do! 😄

Happy to see someone else showing the glow! Also, unfortunately the hair is polypropylene:( I have a question tho. When you said that it takes quite some time for them to begin glowing do you mean a few hours? And if they do charge for a few hours, how long does the glow last?

I'm not 100% sure how long it takes, I was waiting until night to check so it would be super dark so I left her out for HOURS. But that might not be necessary, really depends on the light type too. A super bright light or UV light up close will generally charge faster than regular ceiling lights from far away

with twills doll accessories being "accommodating for her autism" I kinda disagree, for some context I have autism lol, their first doll had a bracelet that in the show was something for her to swim with but with the doll its got that big hourglass charm on it that I feel for most autistics would be really bad sensory wise (although its worth mentioning I don't know how much the writers and doll designers really communicate so im not angry about it lol) but its the fact that she got earbuds. like there useful yeah but they don't really block noise I really wish she had cool stylish noise canceling headphones we get bullied for wearing them so often I just wish that Twyla could show someone wearing them as a cool trendy normal thing you know? im probably asking to much but this is the first time ive seen a brand thats willing to say in there show outlaid that someone has my disorder instead of a small mention on twitter for brownie points, I just really want her to be executed well!!!
