I have the same feeling about the Decora Girlz, it mostly all works aside from the mouths! I could totally see a Blythe-like customizing community elevating them greatly though. Resculpted DIY mouths are gonna look killer on them!

I agree with most of you what said you didn’t want though I do recommend the Jakks Pacific ILY Rapunzel doll 😄 I do think the Disney Store ILY doll is better in person than the stock photos but not worth $30.

As soon as I saw that poseable Rainbow Brite I went on Amazon and bought her. Used to have a cloth RBB as a child and I don’t think she survived my last cleanup. Her hair is going to need some work if that’s what her promo pic looks like though

I’m actually excited for the MH school. It’s hard to find the old one at a good price. So glad I held out for Mattel to release a new MH school playset.

The Frankie dolls mentioned are a strong consideration if they end up on sale but they aren't a must buy, especially since the Fearbook Twyla sold me instantly (and ya know budgeting...). The evil queen themed ILY is also in that ballpark.

I've been very pleasantly surprised by the ily 4ever dolls, at least the Jakks Pacific ones, something about the blank stare of the inset eyes on the Disney Store ones (and the lack of a second outfit) really puts me off. Like, that JP Rapunzel is so stunning, and the Disney Store one, despite being very similar on paper, is just a massive miss. I wish they were cheaper though lol!

Just got the Rupunzal one for free she's nice, big plus , her second outfit fits Barbie. I like the Jakks ones more than then the Disney store ones.

Those Decora dolls remind me of Rainbow Brite, and not in a good way. I think they’re really babyish, and not collectible. I can really appreciate the detail in the MH dolls. They impress.

I pre-ordered the Rainbow Bright doll. I never had one as a kid but she is so cute. I love the ily 4ever dolls but haven't got any from this new wave. I agree with your Monster High picks but I can't wait to get the new Spectra and Abby dolls. ❤ Also video and audio were fine. Have a great weekend Gorgeous!

I like the smaller Rainbow Brite she would display well with my My Little Ponies and Vintage Strawberry Shortcake dolls. Giving up on Rainbow High, the leaks from yesterday don't impress me. I'm going to get more into Monster High.

Im so happy about the Mermaze dolls. I was waiting for the slumber party line to come out and then everyone started saying they were axed. So this was the best surprise ever! I only hope I will be able to get them in Australia. UK toystores don't seem to ship internationally. Im disappointed by the orange one though. Her concept art was cuter. I need Brynn though! The pink and blue one

Im obsessed with the Monster Fest line. I don't know if I will get Frankie but I really love her with those bangs. Draculaura is such a disappointment! I do like her makeup though. She will be really expensive in Australia so I doubt I will get her unless someone who just wants the truck sells her

Draculaura is a good choice for a Valentine's Day pack, but I just cannot understand WHY they would go for "weird 80's prom" instead of something more obviously lovecore There are ways to mix pink and red nicely, but thats not one of them

Raven was the off white doll I was really thinking of buying. But for that price she should be perfect and there were lots of things I would want to change. I really wanted her because of the horns and big wings. Hopefully they will come out with another doll in future that has them. Oh and when I saw photos of the terrible hair rooting it was a huge turnoff. She is bald around her horns and you can see parts of the scalp painted bright red. It looks sooo bad! Why didn't they root the hair all the way up to the horns? This doll is almost $300 in Australia!

Dolls I do and don't want from this list: Howliday love edition: yeah they were a pass for me too. I love the other howliday dolls but they can't seem to nail valentines day. Monster fest Frankie: I love this Frankie so much and simply cannot pass on them. So happy for more pants looks. Monster fest draculaura: yeah pass. Which is good becuz now many will be spared a whole playset for a single doll. The only thing I like about her is her makeup Monster high playset: pass. It's super neat but this thing is massive Raven Rhapsody: pass. She was among the better ones but no temptation. Not super into the fashion to begin with let alone in a cheese box Core refresh Frankie: this might actually be my favorite Frankie. I love how quirky and tim Burton like it is. So it's hilarious how so manys fav Frankie was a meh for me and the meh for everyone else is my fav Frankie. Cleo vanity: it's super cute and i wud buy but I have a quota per character and this would break that so i can't Ily: every single one has been a pass for me I dislike their style it suffers from what I dislike about Barbie. Also as dolls based on Disney they're too casual. I get that's the point but why wud I want a doll of that? Mermaze: would be a total yes...if it were even possible. I'm so sad I literal HAVE do pass. I would want them all Rainbow Brite: pass. Don't know the brand and am not into the aesthetic of the brand of show. Strawberry shortcake: this is a yes from me. I like the look and aesthetic and it's so interesting. I never watched the show but the concept of the brand and look interests me Decora girlz: another yes. I don't know who I want to get yet but I like the overall style of the dolls and that I choose how much I decorate. I like having a representative of lines that interest me in my collection even if I don't ever get many of that brand. It's my personal toy museum in that regard

I fully agree on the decora girls! I think they are so cute, but I really hope they do some closed eye expressions! I think that would freak me out less.

I did get the Mermaze dolls and I love them.I'm a sucker for long hair,inset eyes and lots of color.And they're mermaids.Don't care for Decora Dolls and I love the Clawd and Draculaura.I think the ily's cost to much.

I'm actually really excited for the Decora Girls, I like their faces, they're very cartoony and expressive, that's actually one of the things that attracted me to them, I can understand that it's a acquired taste thought

May I suggest another doll line you might be interested Smart doll is a large scale fashion doll handmade in Japan by Danny choo the son of jimmy choo These are high quality and pretty expensive but I have found them to be worth it they are very customizable Just a suggestion

I have the exact same thoughts on the Frankie doll but they're also my favorite design from that line. I'd have to see the doll in person first but I'm so tempted to customize their color palette into the nonbinary flag. I feel like it would work so well with the fit. Also I'd make the legging a tight.

My friend had a strawberry shortcake doll and I loved sniffing her. But they don't do anything for me aesthetically. I would buy body products in the scent though! I agree about the Decora girls. I hope they do some without that open mouth.

I like the Ily4 Ever outfits, but I have one doll & I'm not impressed with the plastic quality body & hair. So, if they go on sale, maybe I'd get for outfits for my Barbies, but thats it.

I get the whole mouth thing with the Decora dolls, I'm not really a fan of dolls with open mouths generally. I'm guessing the mouths are printed on and not moulded to be open. My guess is this is Mermaze's last shout - I'm guessing they had stock to get rid of which had already been produced for the line before it was cancelled, but then MGA pulled the plug so for some reason the UK toy store The Entertainer ended up with it all. The sound improved when you picked your phone up and went bad again when you put it down, could it have something to do with that? Maybe the position of your hand on your righthand side was interfering with the connection or the sound? (I'm no expert, just an observation).

I agree about decora girls. I wish they had a closed mouth (or drawn the smile differently) because that mouth makes the face so distracting. That face takes my attention off anything else the doll has to offer. But when I avoid looking at the face, they're cute, so im disappointed.
