And yet again, Morrison invents a cool concept for DC...and DC drags it through the mud. Compare this to how Old-Johns enhanced Waid and Robinson (nu-Johns can even have a glimmer of Actually Kinda Good every now and then). Compare this to what Hickman did for Marvel--what Bendis did for some stuff (what, like OG Ultimate Spider-Man wasn't good?), and people thought he could do it for anything culminating in giving him Superman (booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo). Scott Snyder and co is not that. I get some decent storylines were pulled off here and there, but "I shot Barbra to try to get at you showing me Zur" is so not The. Fucking. Point. Of. Batman. Shut it down.
