@@michellebogle5428 I completely relate to family not understanding. The best thing a physical therapist said to me was, “you have to realize you only have so many cookies 🍪 in the jar”. Now I live by these words!! It has helped me a LOT!! I don’t have any advice on family. I’m still navigating through that one! Prayer or meditation helps. But also, the right companion pet will keep you going and will give you hope and joy 🤩 I will be adding you to my prayers!! Take care!

Of course many people say it's not my style but it is what she wants and has her most favourite things surrounding her. I would think by being a brain surgery survivor you do and be whatever you want. Everything makes her happy. She lives by herself but so close to a wonderful family.

I went through about a year of rehabilitation and during that time I worked on self care, self love and self healing. My dr also told me the same thing. Love, love, LOVE! I love the house, the colors you’ve used, just everything (and your gorgeous pup ☺️). It’s all so cozy and inviting. My oldest, my daughter (38) and her husband are absolute Star Wars, and Dr. Who FANATICS. We live in Georgia, and my son-in-law never misses a Dragon-Con. I’m a fellow traveler with the brain tumor/ craniotomy experience, in 2015. I was terrified but everything went well. Mine was a Parasagittal Meningioma, which are generally benign, but mine was growing very rapidly so it had to be removed. In 2018 I was diagnosed with MS, and THAT has been the one that landed me on my back. It paralyzed my entire left side. Literally head to toe. I’m not paralyzed any longer but very disabled, and walk with assistance. I require continued MRI’s, as a check for more tumors AND more lesions. I hope to have a tiny home one day, but I’ll have to have everything on the same level. I’ve been eyeballing them since the early 2000’s. I’ve been working on my husband for quite awhile, lol. You look as though you have recovered incredibly well, and I’m SO happy for you because you are so young. You still have your whole life ahead of you.
