And we know. Knowing this.. paul was convinced. He drives home the point that gospel good news is that repenting and believing God offers a gift out of grace is key. He declares a radical concept God accepting a person by seeing that person in christ hence justified being declared innocent even though guilty. His favorite word is grace special treatment for those who in no way should get it. So we can have a gift of righteousness. A great exchange we get jesus righteousness and he gets our sin!

A person is made alive in jesus. Salvation is a work of God. It where people say I have zero reason for heaven it is all jesus and the father who did it by the holy spirit love becomes the key word for the believers. The cross becomes the key symbol. The preaching of the cross is foolishness. That I may christ . Christ in you the hope of glory. For to to live is christ and die is gain. He truly believes that the life of jesus could be expressed in such a way that the followers would like jesus replicating through their lives. So he is jesus she is jesus.christ expression through him. Suddenly instead of jesus you replications of jesus all over the world though imperfect imitate paul ad he imitates jesus.it is radical love. Walk in love by faith not by sight the armor element being girt with truth. I fought the good fight I have finished the course I have kept the faith. So I will get the crown of Righteousness. He believed jesus could return at any time calling it the blessed hope.

i think i just feel really annoyed at this point in my own personal journey. nothing can be proven, everything is subjective, and everything is based on someone's personal interpretation. i don't see a way to progress past this point of stagnation. i want so badly to take a leap of faith, yet there isn't a stable platform to land on.

I was once a believer in God. I fell away from the faith and 5 years ago. Now I don't place my faith in Him. I now have trouble trusting in a God who tells me to stop sinning and that if I don't he will place me in eternal torment.

@@weevul764 That would probably be the response of most of them. I would say God sent his son to save us from hell as well, but I don't know how to trust Him anymore after being told again and again, pastor after pastor, that if I didn't trust in Jesus, I would go to hell forever. Thank you, Chris

It is not a leap of faith. The Bible in different books gives glimpses of Gods characters and jesus character. God is a keeper who never slumbers or sleeps. God knows what you need before you ask him. God is faithful God cannot lie promised God of all comfort God of all grace full of compassion God is light God is love. Read some former muslim testimonies on youtube. Radical hate to radical love jesus message is radical love and compassion. Leaving islam these men and women follow jesus instead of parents and government. Smuggle bibles where forbidden. Ukraine had a national day of prayer from 2016 to 2021. My mom when she was young hated christianity yet she sId jesus if you are real come into my heart. He did and changed her that she loved christianity. Why would so many in china risk lives to embrace jesus.

I believe you place your trust in Christ, but you don't realize that you're doing this. I'm sure you know the Bible verses about salvation, so if you trust in God as your savior, and walk in the desires he gives you as His spirit leads you, then you know you are saved.

How can one be intimate with the unknown unless the Unknown is a Person? I think what it is to be saved is to have a God/Christ-Centered life as opposed to a self-centered life. Heaven is a God-centered life carried on throughout eternity and hell is a self-centered life carried throughout time as well. Souls must be eternal because morals are eternal. The ideas of generosity, love, justice, etc. are transcendental, which means they must exist beyond physical space and time. With regard to Paul, I don’t necessarily believe it is subjective because the gospel is so clear-cut. The gospel creates implications that are logical and coherent. This is why he could “call out” Peter, an apostle, and no one could question Paul for it. Was it subjective in that it was from Paul’s limited perspective? Yes. But is it concretely true? Yes. Both can be true. And if you believe that God could exist and is all-knowing, He would also have the ability to invade someone’s subjectivity with objectivity. But truth MUST exist. Ideals must exist. It is self-evident to all human beings that there are certain principles that are true no matter what. It’s wrong to murder. It’s wrong to lie. It’s wrong to take what’s not yours. It’s wrong to inflict harm to someone for the sake of causing pain. No one will argue against these things. They are transcendent, self-evident AND provable, and they all point to the fact that both good and evil exist within us, and both carry on for eternity.

Pail sees God the father as brilliant. One is only wise with radical power. He links glory through jesus christ. Everything is either christ in you or you in christ. Jesus becomes a bridegroom linked to a spiritual bride. He longs for unified love but realizes there is a fire and some people will be save with zero rewards he makes clear that there are two states of human under law and under grace. The difference of judgment being condemned as a legal or spanked in family setting. He said taking communion unworthily could lead to being taken to heaven prematurely.

Paul clearly in titus says God cannot lie also God is faithful. Paul philosophically argues for the resurrection in I Corinthians 15. Remember jesus had blinded paul temporarily. There are amazing stories of muslims seeking earnestly and seeing jesus in visions and dreams leaving islam to follow jesus. See we have time debate where Christians are choosing the possible persecution over what government or even family says .the church is growing fastest in iran.

Belief is not the same as knowing. Knowing is just facts, whether they are right or wrong. Belief is wishes and fears. People believe because they want something to be true or they're afraid it's true. (They want to go to heaven and they're afraid of hell.) Faith is just an English word, a synonym for belief, and also a homonym because it can be synonym for other words too like trust or confidence. I have faith in you, I believe in you, I have confidence in you... it's all the same. If faith would have its own meaning different from its synonyms, it would have a translation in Dutch (or other languages), but there is none! It's always translated as one of its synonyms, depending on the context, but there is no Dutch word for "faith" itself.

I can agree and disagree with what youve said. I agree on belief being wishes and fears, and knowing is facts, but I do think (personally) that belief can turn into knowing with a objective experience (which hasnt happened a lot, but I dont think its impossible). And yes, there are commonalities in language as a whole, but I do think there are languages that describe abstract things better than others, so I think just because one language doesnt have a word for a certain word that is in another language, doesnt make it wrong, it just means theres simply no word for that thing in that language, and probably better decribed in a different language.... Hope that made sense. Just got off work and im pretty tired haha.

@@ThePhilosophicalMisfit Hmmm ok... reminds me of a Dutch word "gezellig". I once read it has no English translation, but I would have translated it as "cozy". Reading further about it, I realized "cozy" doesn't really comprehend it. It's even hard to describe what "gezellig" means... it's a feeling, an atmosphere/ambiance... it's a very abstract word. Looking at all possible translations by Google: cozy, sociable, intimate, snuggy, homey, clubbable, maty, companionable... none of these words alone comprehend "gezellig". But all together, they do. So maybe, belief, trust, confidence... those words separately don't comprehend "faith" either... but all together, they do? So faith is a belief with trust and confidence. Am I getting close now?

@@darkendemey890 I would say closER haha. But what im saying is that when paul wrote the new testament, he used words that in english we describe as "faith" and "belief", but even he, in the language that he spoke, didnt necessarily have the words to describe what he was talking about. This is why I brought up the fact that these words Paul used arent even in the old testament because there wasnt a word for it yet, just that "feeling" if you will. Pauls attempt was to bridge the gap from that feeling to an actual process that can be explained through intellect. I think (subjectively) he got pretty close, but many people have many different interpretations of what he said, BECAUSE he used philosophy. It was an open discussion. All of this was him trying to explain the unexplainable, something hard to articulate in any language, but something we all feel. This is why it's all mostly subjective. We get wrapped up in the language, thinking that "we" are right and "they" are wrong, when in reality we are talking about that same indescribable feeling that none of us can truly put into words. Its kinda like the feeling is a bullseye that none of us can his with our intellect or language, but with a feeling that we cant put into words. We can attempt to hit that bullseye with our understood language, but language is subjective (in a way) and very contextual. So its almost impossible to hit that said "bullseye" with our given human languages.
