"Surprise Your Dead" is one of my favorite songs for some reason. The first time I heard it I think I played it 25 times, not a lie. I fell for that aggressive guitar line and it's overwhelming attitude. And I really liked vampires at the time.

@@metheus108 It was an official video... "In 1993 FNM released Video Croissant a VHS compilation of their promo clips. Included was Surprise! You're Dead!. The short film was stitched together by Bill from footage captured on a hand held camera during the band's 89/90 tour in Europe and America. As a black and white Patton mouths the lyrics whilst sat in a public toilet we can further understand the irony of the song. "

I bought The Real Thing on tape when it was released when I was 11. Second album I taught myself from start to finish on guitar. AFD from GN'R was the first. Patton's vocals are so powerful he "voiced" the creatures from I Am Legend. What a fucking vocal range, man.
