Robin, I read such a lovely and inspiring quote recently and I thought of you immediately! Here it is..... " The way you keep your house, the way you organize your time, the care you take in your personal appearance, the things you spend your money on all speak loudly about what you believe. 'The beauty of Thy peace' shines forth in an ordered life. " Elizabeth Elliot

That is beautiful! Look what was in my morning devotional just today (from an old book of Puritan prayers and devotions): "Sanctify and prosper my domestic devotion, instruction, discipline, example, that my house may be a nursery for heaven, my church the garden of the Lord, enriched with trees of righteousness of thy planting, for thy glory..."

Hi good day everyone. Here in Germany, they sell egg cookers that come with a measuring cup and at the bottom of the cup, outside, theres a poker. Looks like a needle . And use the same way as what ms Robin did. 😍In this case, the purpose is for steam to come out while cooking, thus avoiding the eggs to crack. ❤️❤️

White Vinegar is the ticket to bowling hard boiled eggs and getting the spell off and they also don't smell either been doing that for years. Put water into a pot half cup of white vinegar and boil them works great..... have a blessed day

Robin I've watched you for a long time and just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate all of your hard work to produce these quality videos. So excited to see that your kitchen is finally reaching completion! The range hood is gorgeous! Oh, and I'll definitely try the trick with the hard boiled eggs. I get frustrated when they don't peel, especially when I need to peel more than two or three at once (I know...first world problem!). LOVE those binders! Last year I started to write out my tried-and-true recipes and organize them into a binder for my daughter. If I haven't made it and unless it's one that I go back to again and again, it doesn't go in the book. I write them out because I want her to have something more personal than a print-out (although I use and file print-outs as well). Really enjoyed this video, Robin. I think I'll be rewatching this one!

Hi Robin~Your videos always leave me feeling so inspired, with your blend of hard work, positivity and eye for beauty in the home. I loved it when you said you like to keep things tidy and company ready...makes me wish I could drop by for a little visit, lol! But fortunately, I sort of can; by watching your videos! I enjoyed seeing Austin hard at work on squirrel duty...he obviously puts his whole heart into his job! As you were peeling your boiled eggs, I was reminded of a new trick I recently discovered that I wanted to share. One day as I was prepping eggs for egg salad, and it came time to chop the eggs, an idea hit me...why not use my hand held pastry cutter [with blades] to chop them up? It worked like a charm, and they were done in just a few seconds! The bean salad looked so hearty and refreshing for these warm summer evenings! And lastly, your new notebooks are so lovely and cheerful...a lot like you : ) Pam

Great progress and recipe. I love using binders and page protectors. I do that for my dream journal, recipes, gaming guides for the times I can't look up the information, and general notes. I love a large binder to keep all of my journal entries together. I need lots if recipes as Lee and our son Daniel get bored of foods so I'll have to rotate through them. I may do smaller binders per type of recipe like appetizer, breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, and snacks. I do a quick stew of canned diced tomatoes, canned corn, and canned black beans. I drain and rinse the beans. I add the rest with all their liquid. You can season it any way you like. I've been loving Cavender's Greek Seasoning in most of my savory dishes.

Happy New Week! As always, THANKS for this upload 🤗. I totally agree with you about ROUTINES, MAKING ONE'S BED FIRST THING IN THE MORNING, and CLEANING AS YOU GO. I honestly cannot say how much of my everyday approach to life is uniquely my own because my parents reared us by installing these very same house keeping strategies. We were not allowed to leave a dirty kitchen after meals were cooked. We cleaned the dishes, wiped down the appliances, and mopped up the kitchen floors after each meal. We also were expected to have our beds made before we went to school; AND Saturday mornings were earmarked for household chores that needed done before we could do anything else 🤣. I know many children grow up to establish household routines of their very own, but my adult life isn't much different from the values my parents taught me; and they're basically the same tips and tricks that we've instilled in our kids. Perhaps the one thing that we do in our homes that's different from my upbringing is the removal of our shoes upon entering the Foyer or Mudroom. This tradition is normal for my Moroccan born husband, but I also discovered that the home carpeting and flooring stays cleaner when we're not tracking in the dirt and oil from outdoors. Our hardwood floors also aren't scratched nearly as often, if at all, from small bits of glass or stone trapped in the crevices of the soles on our shoes. Have a Great Week Ahead!

You have such a calm way of speaking and walking. A real contrast to my hectic movements.🙂 Where I live we have a small round gadget, where you press the egg into and a needle comes up to poke the egg. It is a safe way not to smouch the egg incidentally. One thing you should consider: You blocked the air vent holes of your microwave. 😯Not only could this be a fire hazard but it could damage the binders if there is hot wet air coming out or rather trying to come out.

Kitchen looks great! I do my eggs in the Instant Pot. Easy peel every time no matter freshness. 1 1/2 cups water, use the metal insert that keeps them off bottom, manual with , Low pressure, 6-7 mins, quick release and then ice bath. That usually leaves the yolks not quite hard - a little dark yellow in center (like yours look).

After I boil them and cool them, I use a spoon to hit it around the middle to create a crack all around it. I then insert the spoon and scoop the whole egg out and the shell comes out all at once. I learned that years ago when Emeril Lagasse had his first cooking show 😂It's worked ever since. Have a great weekend! ❤️✝️

I have binders with recipes too! Similar to yours I reorganized them and separated them into 2 binders for cooking and baking. I hope yours works as well as mine have.

Hi Robin. Thank you for another insightful video. The tips you give are so helpful. Keep tips coming. They are helping me get more organized in my home. I’ve always cleaned my dishes after eat meal. I don’t like a cluttered sink or uncleared dishes or cookware just sitting around. My bed gets made each day once we are up for the day. Thank you so much for sharing. Tips I didn’t know, gets added to my maintenance routine.

I so enjoyed this video! Love seeing Austin.😀. Resetting a room is the hardest and best habit I’ve started. I love walking into a tidy space. I still have to consciously say to myself - is this room reset? - before I leave. But man, I love it. I make a version of your bean salad but I use fresh green beans in place of the corn. It’s delicious! Love the hood and backsplash! Looks awesome! That egg trick is truly a game changer! Happy for you and your family! God bless you all!

So nice when I logged into youtube today and saw a video from you Robin! Your home looks so beautiful and very peaceful! I loved the boiled egg tip, I have tried every which way to get the shells not to stick and haven't found something that works all the time yet! I'm for sure going to try this, I'm planning on making potato salad today so thank you for the tip! I hope you and your family have a blessed and safe week! JIll

Great video, Robin! I love that bean salad too. Sometimes I throw in diced watermelon for a sweet & fruity twist. It’s very refreshing. Your kitchen backsplash is beautiful! Everything is coming together so well. Have a great weekend.

Hi Robin, There’s nothing I enjoy more than making a cup of coffee and sitting down to watch your video every week👍👏 I get so much inspiration from them, you are so easy to watch and listen too - it’s like spending time with my best friend. Your kitchen is beautiful - the brick style splash back is very classy. We have had our bathroom tiled recently and the tiler used the same third spacing of the tiles - I wasn’t convinced about this, my husband was, so third spacing it was to be! I am so pleased that I did take his advice! I have to say I am over the moon with how it turned out. Have a good week Robin and thank you🙏🙋‍♀️. Ps great tip about the eggs👏👏

I loved today's video, was so good. Especially enjoyed you taking videos of Austin on the job. Was so sweet and special. My husband watched that part also. Thanks for letting me know where to purchase the oven liners, hope they get here fairly soon. Thanks for bringing to mind on the recipes, that will be my project this week. God Bless you and family and have a great week.🌹🌷🌹

That's a great tip about the hard-boiled eggs. I'm not sure if I have some wire to use to make the hole, but I was thinking it might work with a wooden skewer.

Hey Robin, watching you peel the hard-boiled eggs reminded me of a tip I heard to make it easier to get the peel off. Tap it a couple of times and then give it a roll back and forth. The eggshell almost comes off whole, give it a try anxious to see what you think. Have a great day bless you.
