When I started dancing flamenco, the music reminded me so much of the qawwalis I grew up listening to as my dad was big into Sufi and classical Indian music. I always thought someone should do a fusion of these two styles, and then to my delight, someone did. I just love this.

@@imanetaouiq9140 It took me 17 years to come back looking for this concert that I watched live on TV (Al Oula) as a young teenager (I was 16). I remember so well that it was performed in Fez spiritual festival. I could not forget it. Watching it now, it sent shivers down my spine OMG. I thought it was the late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan that was the lead singer before learning now that it was his nephew. Thanks for mentioning the date 2004 that I could not remember.

Immense thanks dear Vipan Bhai for sending me this NOVEL Qawwali. Since, the sad demise of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan in 1998, the genre of Qawwali was vanished in the sub-continent. But Allah is great. He produced this fine combination. I can never think of this wonderful combination of Flemanco and pakistani- Indian traditional art of music. No doubt, this is a RARE item, i watched FIRST time.
