You do not need to use scissors or anything to unwrap the box. Instead you should use pull tab to unwrap it. Using pull tab to unwrap it, you can easily find which one is fake and which one is genuine because fake ones pull tab does not work. Also, notice that fake one uses plastic material while apple uses cardboard material inside box packaging.

Guys if you're looking for some new earbuds I highly recommend Navapods. They are new on market, so pretty affordable as of right now, but they sound really decent. Same look and functions as Airpods, though.. so added benefit!

If you're going off pictures, make sure the bottom label says "Assembled in Vietnam." Easiest way to tell.

Some apple products are assembled in vietnam. Not a foolproof method to identify fake. The only to find out is the auto switching will not work and spatial audio doesnt work the same as original.

Fake ones anc don’t work, and you can easily verify your pros under setting-general-about-scroll down until you see your airpods pro (make sure that your pro’s are connected) there you will see the details manufacturer,model num,serial etc.. no need for a physical check..

If you want to see if it’s real, go to settings, general, about and then scroll down to see if the serial number is the one on your box (when you turned your airpods on) and then you know they’re real

These kinds of videos are actually not that helpful for someone who wants to find out if their purchased product is genuine. They don’t have the real and fake ones side by side to be able to compare. For example they can’t just check the quality of the papers or the colour of the prints, since they do not already have a benchmark to which the can compare. Another point is that there are many kinds of fake products out there and not all of them have the same recognisable signs of being fake.

1. On transparent mode , the original will automatically turned noise cancelling when you move closer to your air conditioning or fans. And it will automatically back to transparent mode when you move away. 2. Find my AirPods Pro ( airpods will make a Loud bee sound) 3. Only fake airpods will have the same serial number on charging case, box and airpods. Real airpods each its own different serials while box and case is the same.

@@tommialli2181 if you’re compared the sounds to like beats or Sony, airpods not as good as those earbuds.. even some random cheap Sony can sounds better than airpods. One more way to find out is watch Apple TV , the dolby atom makes it sounds like it was coming from your phone/iPad. And yea, one more thing is when you go to the Bluetooth settings, go tap on your serial number, it will shows you your Left pods serial and your right pods. This cannot be fake.

Not anymore. They are actually putting serial numbers that work on apples site. At this point I think you either buy the real ones or go for something that much cheaper and from the manufacturer. I recommend samsung buds plus. Half the price and genuinely nice earphones.

I have the same airpods pro made in China and serial number matching from each one to the case serial number and also is recognized by Apple and also having more Apple plus care to extend not just one year warranty. Actually you didn't even show on the earphones where to find serial numbers too. You didn't remove the white silicon from airpods and there you can see the difference between fake and real. Your video can confuse ppl. Actually original is only from Vietnam what's is pretty stupid we all know where are iphones and their equipment made...
