What if the person is going to make a movement like he or she would move a hand and it will go out of the mask range? is it possible to Track bluriness as we can do it on Optical Flares?
@VideoRevealed8 жыл бұрын
You can track movement with the Mask Tracker in After Effects so yes it could follow a hand. The accuracy of the tracking is based on how much contrast is in the video, if the video is highly compressed (DSLR) and many other factors.

How do you track the mask please Colin?
@VideoRevealed8 жыл бұрын
For this example, because it's a soft edge, you might just get away with manually setting a keyframe for the mask, then moving it when the camera moves. For automated tracking, select the mask and open the Tracker panel (look in the Windows menu). That should bring up some controls for automatically tracking the mask.

Hey, when I render and export my video in mp4 and 1080p the lens blur effect looks pixelated as if the video lost a great amount of quality in resolution. How can I fix that? Thanks a lot for your videos!
@VideoRevealed6 жыл бұрын
I have no idea why that's happening. After Effects renders all effects at a sub-pixel level so it should never loose quality. Does this happen with all videos?
@haroonaaron51777 жыл бұрын
Sir how to track the blur area, in this way it is not working for moving objects.
@VideoRevealed7 жыл бұрын
Successful tracking is directly connected to how complex the scene is and how good the tracker can follow the isolated area. If you have a typical busy background, there is no automatic tracker that can do that and that's why visual effects companies employ hundreds of people to sit there every day and manually track stuff, frame by frame.
@CreativeHubFx6 жыл бұрын
Can u pls say how to track that blur...
@VideoRevealed6 жыл бұрын
Tracking isn't needed in this example, the effect is applied to the whole clip.

Hey great video. Is it possible to separate the body from the background, like when working with keylight to separate the green screen from the subject and use that as a map?
@VideoRevealed8 жыл бұрын
The Blur Map needs to be created somewhere else like Keylight. So yes, if you've already go a layer that can function as a matte, you can use that.

VideoRevealed sir everything is up to date but still I can't find it Sir is there any other technique for blurring ?
@VideoRevealed8 жыл бұрын
If you are using version CC 2017, then you are not looking in the correct place AND you must have an effect applied before you look for Compositing Options. Are you telling me that when you twirl down Effects, you don't see this? imgur.com/a/ry0OZ Do you have the effect applied? Do you see the Property "Effects"? There are many ways to blur, but they all composite the exact same way to just trying a different blur won't give you compositing options.

Great video!! Thank you! Very nice tip especialy when the subject and the camera doesn't move and so much better than gaussian blur for sure! However the issue starts when camera moves as well as the subject! Yea some tracking and neat rotoscoping might help a lot but than is like creating lightsaber effect with AE, frame by frame! Still good for action camera or smart phone footages I believe! I wish there was a magical plugin like RE:Vision's twixtor which analyses the scene or you setup the focus object than it does things by analysing pixels! Maybe that kind of plugin or similar already exists? Any recommenmdations?
@VideoRevealed7 жыл бұрын
The best tool for rotoscoping is Mocha Pro, but that will only isolate areas, you still have to add effects. I am not aware of any tool that does it all.

It's impossible for the program to know what to apply the effect to so it's up to you to isolated the area using a mask. I've got several tutorials on masking. If this is your first time masking a video, get ready for many hours of work because it can be very difficult.
