Here is what we know of suspension science: the longer the damping, the more stress and shock is causes the rider (minuscule shock over long term becomes stress).

These hydraulic spring shocks are 135mm which fits the front of the ZERO 10X perfectly. Installing it is seamless as it fits nicely with our stock ZERO 10X spring coils.
But what it provides is a smooth, cushiony ride on any road surface with a soft rebound as compared to a springy tension and rebound for the stock spring coil suspension on the ZERO 10X.

Such a soft suspension might be comfy but is not good at all for higher speed stability, cornering traction and bottoming on jumps or obstacles.

It’s tunable with the spring coils. Turn the springs tight if you want them stiffer

Sound like you are the one who needs to learn one thing or two about suspension and how it works and how stiff suspension have better stability and gives better traction. Scooter is suicide with bouncy suspension at higher speeds.

I just installed mine (thanks for the fast delivery!) and took it for a slow/light test run. The ride height (loaded) is a lot lower than with the spring shock but it does seem to eat a lot of the small chatter which is great. Fortunately, I don't ride it over big jumps or anything major. I'll take it for a longer run later tonight, and a full 10km commute later this week and report back.

I ordered this shock too and can confirm it's lower then stock (wished it was bit higher) but it eats every small bump I tried to ride on.(much better then original)

Looks like the link in the description is only for a 165mm shock (rear only). I'm having a really hard time finding any adjustable 135mm suspension for the front. Does anyone have a link where to buy one?

As you found out, there isnt one, you need to make one from a 125mm and 150mm shock

i have two exa 291r coming for my frontt of my scooter both springs rated at 250lbs so nice and skinny springs should be a nice soft front. i have a seat i sit on so my weigts all on the rear it is working very smooth at the moment with regular spring suspension on the rear 125mm and 950lbs spring and two of them. i might change them one day to exaform 291r 150mm and maybe 650lbs spring. i am 63kg. two 950lbs gives me a really tiny sag which is good for small vibrations. but more sag the better it sags like 1cm.

250 lbs is definitely too small. anything less than 1000 lbs is too small for escooters. Those are more for bicycles.

Air Sus doesn’t work well for scooters. They are too soft so they tend to bottom out too easily

About time! Haha, good stuff! Interesting it isn't adjustable damping. I highly recommend getting this and the 165 DV22AR for back. Little bit concerned that it bottomed out onto the tire at the end. Would certainly hit the mudguard. Hopefully just winding pretension up will sort that out. What is the spring rating? I presume somewhere in the 800-1000 lbs range?

The bottoming out is on a 100kg rider. On the other 80kg rider it nicely gently bounces back

It will bottom out on any shock after a jump because after all it’s only 135mm. but it’s the rebound that we are trying to show. Watch the rebound

Doesn't look like it makes much of a difference. What I did notice is that plastic fender flapping around.

If you look closely at the side by side, the stock suspension bounces back up immediately which is jarring and shocking to the body. For the hydraulic suspension, you will see that the rebound is very gentle. You have to try it to really feel the difference.

It doesn’t really hit the frame but the spring coil goes flat. This happens to the stock coils too but with the stock coils it has a knocking sound if you notice but the hydraulic coil is silent.

@@din167 we have been testing this shocks for the last 4 months and quite intensively. Did you see anything fall? We certainly didn’t.

When you jumped at the beginning I could see your shocks totally bottom out. The tire hit the metal part.

Bottoming out is pretty normal for scooters considering the travel is only 2+cm for scooter shocks. You could use stiffer suspension in that case. The video shows a 1100 lbs spring coil but you could adjust it to 1500 lbs.

As a suggestion, change the magnification to f9 or f11 to avoid all the focusing in and out. This takes away from the video itself and makes it very distracting. I got a headache fro watching this video.
