You make training a Goshawk look easy even when it’s going wrong 🫣 I wonder how many people will watch the video and think “I can do that!”. Great video

Ha! I’m new to falconry (but have had a keen interest for 30 plus years) and have done a lot of research, along with this video I think it reaffirms this amazing bird is not for me yet!

That was great to watch! It brought back memories of my first redtail, especially getting footed for the first time. The difference was, I was more nervous than the bird while you were cool as can be. Congrats! She's a beauty!!

Great Video as always Dave. Matches my experience with my PR male Goshawk Blitz. Anyone with Experience with a PR Goshawk knows just how intense the tiny steps are that take time to build a good relationship are!! I always see imprint Goshawk vids but very Rarely see PR training, Sums up the Goshawk mentality, ever on edge with a dash of hyper Focus and a splash of Heatseeking razer shap, explosive Hunting Power ... amazing when it all comes together but very time consuming and sometimes downright frustrating!! Keep up the good work can't wait to see her Progress 👍👍

Fantastic video, thoroughly enjoyed that! Great to see her journey thus far and see how you handle each scenario. Also, well done for embracing the new tech! The Mic alone, has transformed the viewing experience! Well done Sir 👍

@falconry.davesharpenatureboy just blame it on Science, light does travel faster than sound after all... 🤣🤣 Haha, I guess you will always be your worst critic, but honestly, it's fantastic content that's extremely well presented, and it keeps you hooked! New mic setup is definitely a step in the right direction 👌 As always, looking forward to more 😎

Might be Marmite, but I think the Albidus goshawks are just the most beautiful birds maybe ever. An absolute dream bird for sure, no way I can fly a gos in my current situation, but Accipiters were the bird of choice for my ancestors in the Medieval era. Some of them lived in Siberia, I do imagine that one of them flew a white goshawk at least at some point. Great stuff, and so much important information in this video. ETA: I hate to inform you that hippos are in fact omnivoristic, and will actively hunt other animals! Worst of both worlds haha
