In ATL we got the potential to make him the best QB from this draft. None of the other guys got a Journeyman like Kirk to teach them the game. Penix doesn’t need to start this upcoming year but hopefully by yr2 he can say that he’s confident in his preparation to start.

Kirk is a top 10 QB and one of the top paid players in the NFL over a career. He is no journeyman ,not many better than him when he is on.
@RG-gk7qg6 ай бұрын
Atl was better off drafting Odunze at 8. He could be another Drake London or better. Easily a plug-in and play WR 2. Bears must have loved landing him as a 3. They must have loved seeing Penix going 8th to a team with no QB needs except a pro ready backup. He isn't saving anyone this year or next Falcons are in win now mode. What a mistake. If Kirk goes, so goes Atl. Edge or WR should have been taken.

After re-watching his tape i think he's better at timing throws than any of the big 3; Caleb Drake and Jayden. Unlike the other 3 he consistently throws into tight coverage with success. The other 3 seem to throw much more to wide open receivers and wait for them to get open before releasing. Not Penix. I dont know how he runs because u like the other 3 running like chickens every third highlight this guy just gets it out when he needs too. Love it. Welcome to Washington.

Its a bit skewd because Caleb played with shit receivers. While Penix threw to top 10 if not top five WR in Odunze . I also disagree that he was s better then Williams. I watched a lot of tape on Williams and that kid plays with anticipation way more then Penix. And im not even a USC fan.
