Last one with the jamaican. I too find it odd that his marriage license was approved. It should have been denied and him asked to present himself to the home office to sort his imigration status or instead of sending the marriage license call him and say he needs to come by because there are documents missing for it to be approved and there confront him like this. They allowed him and his wife to spend all the wedding money for nothing.

I also found out, in spite of the HIGH number of patients who claim she messed their teeth up, she opened another office a few years ago . Wouldn't it be interesting to find out SHE'S an illegal immigrant who's overstayed her visa ! In Sweden, we don’t have colleges with the same concept as you have in the US, Canada or Australia (I don’t know about the UK), which is an additional step between high school and university. You go directly from the high school to university if you want to obtain higher education. Hence, we don't get bogus foreign students coming to Sweden with student visas to attend collages. We still welcome foreign students to attend university, but the qualification, verification, and admission process is very rigid to prevent false applications and documents. There are no private educational institutions providing bogus higher education in Sweden either, which can facilitate student visas, as all such applications are controlled and verified by the relevant government body. Proving your financial ability to support yourself during your studies without full-time work is a must. I came to Sweden from Iran as a student in 1985, and the admission process was already tough at that time. It's even tougher now.

The second guy is unbelievable. He's obviously Nigerian, has a South African passport with a name that is Cameroonian,Patrick Agbor. Agbor is a name from the southwest area of Cameroon and I know because I'm Cameroonian and have lived on South Africa for 6 years now. His temerity to keep lying when he's been found out is beyond my understanding 😂😂

It's interesting how that one guy talked about being honest AFTER he got caught. It was never a big deal before that. But let's give that other guy some slack, remembering your date of birth is a really hard question.

That lovely officer who is a former teacher is so sweet. ❤ She is so nice that I believe she can get people to really tell her the truth. Such a nice officer. She proves that an officer doesn’t have to be nasty or abuse authority to get their job done.

When I read the comment, nobody shows sympathy for the man detained at his wedding, with British children and wife, taken away from his family, just for being born in another land, he shouldn't overstay sure, but the way he was detained and taken away just show me mercilessly.

These kinds of questions should be asked in the embassies in every country before the scammers embark on the flight. It would be less stress on security department of immigration at the airports.

These agents probably know five seconds into the interview that they're being lied to, but they do a VERY good job of leading the liars on until they out themselves. Fascinating detectives. Someone without their skills would probably put the liars on guard.

What they did to the Jamaican guy is not good. Why wait until the wedding day? It's also very likely that he will be back in the UK as his partner is a UK Citizen. I have no sympathy for all the rest though.

I was looking for this comment and I found it! I agree. In his case, they could have examined if he has really broken laws, assumed identities, encashed benefits illegally etc. He overstayed, sure. That's a problem. But if falling in love was the only reason he stayed back, they could have worked out a way to 'normalize' him.
