Hi Mickey: I made these recipes last Saturday, and they were delicious. We live in Florida, and my family flew in from L.A. for a week's visit. They all asked for your recipes so I shared your YT video with them. Thank you! 😊

As always everything looks amazing!! So i am not a baker but Paula Deen’s pumpkins bread recipe is so very very easy and delicious. I made loaves and cupcakes and my girls could not stop eating them!!

Oh yes to crockpot recipes! I love the pumpkin dump cake. I have been making it over 40 years. I worked in a doctor’s office & 1 of the nurses gave me the recipe.

If you ever get a chance, try making Paula Dean’s Pumpkin Gooey Butter cake. It is amazing! Better than pumpkin pie in my opinion. Also, if you’ve never bought a Costco pumpkin pie, you definitely need to try one. I buy one for Thanksgiving and always purchase one at the beginning of the season when I first see them in the store, just to have a decadent weeknight desert. They are so good and really cheap!

I have never made a bad Paula Deen recipe so I can image her Pumpkin Butter cake is awesome!

I’ve been making that dessert for about 33 years. What’s funny is the coworker who gave me the recipe titled it Better Than Pie! And it is 😊

Thank you for sharing your recipes ! They all sound delicious. Our family has been going through some difficult times lately. Seems like one thing after another has happened and we just pray to God to help us through it all. Also, my husband and I just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and are so thankful for each other. I really enjoy your videos because you are always so positive and put a smile in my heart. All the best to you Mickey...😊 hugs, Mary

🌷 I just love your visits!!! Love your organization, crockpot meals, and just listening! My grandma alwys used Duncan Hines cake mix for her the best in the world moist lemon cake that had fresh squeezed lemon juice and powdered sugar poured in poked holes all over the cake!!. You use so many seasonings like my mother did, so I know that you are an excellent cook!😁😊👍👏🌸 Oh, I must ask you- since your children are not there now, do you make these dishes for all week for you and your husband? I’m asking because it’s just my husband and I now.

I usually cook 3-4 times a week. Leftovers are my favorite so I always make extra for lunches and to have for dinner!

Great recipes, I can’t wait to try them 😋, they all look so good and something my family would enjoy. I have 2 questions. Why the plastic liner? Is it good to cook in plastic? Also I love your spice jars? Where are they from? Thank you so much for sharing.
@MyBashfulLife Жыл бұрын
The spice jars are small ball jars with shaker lids you can sometimes buy on Amazon and Walmart I have been using CP Liners for messy recipes, they are great for clean up but I am concerned about that as well. I know they are BPA free and FDA compliant. Still, I limit use to messy or sticky recipes
@Lisa6812 Жыл бұрын
@@MyBashfulLife I get you lol. I just soak my things with dish soap. To be honest I don’t think they sell those liners in Canada, I’ve never seen them before your video. Thank you for the info ♥️

Ditch the plastic liner. It can’t be good.

Plastic crockpot liners are GREAT and designed for that purpose. They’re probably not very eco-friendly true, but the cleanup couldn’t be easier especially for super messy/sticky dishes.

SOAK MESSY POTS WITH PLAIN OLD HOT WATER AND SOAP 🧼 CLEAN UP 🧽 IS BETTER THAN COOKING IN PLASTIC NO MATTER WHAT THEY CLAIM IS SAFE‼️🙏
@beckiehubley5798 Жыл бұрын
I tried them, and once it helped with cleanup. The next time it melted onto the crockpot, and tore when I tried to take the food out. Never again. If I remember, using pam or olive oil helps with clean up. Like for hashbrown casserole. When I make meatloaf in the crockpot, I just put the meatloaf in a foil pan and set it in the crockpot. Sometimes surrounded by little potatoes. Eta: looks like my crockpot is bigger or your liners are bigger.
