Love your reactions to this series. I got a Madeline Usher tattoo right before a comic convention and was able to show Mary there. She took a picture of it to send to Mike. It was awesome! I posted a pic of it in the show's Reddit around two months ago.

That line about being able to get away with shooting somebody in the middle of fifth Avenue gave me chills. It was an incredible way to tie in the real world.

I REALLY enjoyed watching the three of you reacting to this! So, another fun fact- I impulsively bid on some of the props when they did a charity auction online. When you said, "That's a beautiful mask," I said out loud: "and it's currently in my bedroom in a case!" I won the mask, Auggie's tape recorder that he records with and sets on the ground, the cat collar, and the final glass that Verna sets on Roderick's headstone. Masque Of The Red Death is MY favorite Poe story, so I also won Perry's/Prospero's red suit, the folder he flipped through, looking at buildings, one of his burner phones, and the robe and shorts he wore at the rave (pre-acid bath). All displayed in my room with my Poe stuff! That said, I'm working my ass off to pay on the credit card I used for the auction. 😆 But the money went to a charity that helps to fight the overdose epidemic, and I now have some really cool conversation pieces!

(Jase here) I can't even begin to explain how jealous I am that you have those. That mask is gorgeous! It's also such a good story, and I can't wait to incorporate mikes interpretation of death and her Disguise for the party into the poe themed tattoo I have. I know I said it in the reactions but I can't get over the fact that my favorite director actually adapted my favorite authors work, and how lucky I am for that hahaha

@@MilltownReacts They are beyond cool to have, and I knew youd appreciate it! I made a ticktok/Instagram reel showing them off, but need to make a KZbin video. I was stoked for you when I knew the Cask of Amontillado part was coming. I did a radio play version of that story back in high school, so when they said the company's name was Fortunato, I KNEW someone was getting bricked up. Haha. I'm an actor, and I am literally TRYING to get an audition for Mike Flanagan someday. It's just a hope and a dream, since I live in the midwest, but man does he know how to make films! By far my favorite director. The tattoo is going to he epic! I like what you have so far, and think Verna's face will fit nicely in there. Hopefully you show it off when you get done!

Like you, Mike Flanagan is my FAVORITE director, and even though I'm just a small-time actor in the midwest, I'm determined to get an audition with him one day! When I see the stuff in my room, it feels like I'm one step closer! I'm excited for your tattoo! It's already a beautiful raven design, and I was honestly jealous of the ink you had (The good part). Verna will be a PERFECT addition to it, especially in her party costume! Hopefully you'll share it with us when you get it done.
