When he spoke of the transition from winter to spring, I absolutely love this time of year.

Beautiful little film. I really felt at home during the first day’s filming when the video really captured the gray and warm brown colours of the Pennies, the heavy rain clouds and fog as Graham mentioned. Can be a gloomy and moody place but it’s very special and magical. And so is its river fishing!

What a lovely film, taking the viewer right into the heart of the fishing. Graham is an absolute natural and the filming.. one of my favourites so far.

I learned to fish as a boy on the free stretch of the Tees at Cotherstone. Thanks for a lovely trip down memory lane. I now live in Cornwall and Fish much smaller rivers.

Sat outside on a lovely May evening watching this. Although I feel that May is the most beautiful month of all, this is such a lovely film, it actually makes me look forward to those clear winter days on the rivers!

Great filming and music. What was the cup you were using, where can I get one from?
@GrahamVasey812 жыл бұрын
Cheers it’s a traditional Nordic cup called a Kuksa I’m not sure where mine was from exactly because it was bought for me as a gift but if you google them there are loads available

😬May I ask what rod and reel were used by the Graham as I am new to vintage fishing gear. Excellent story video.
@GrahamVasey812 жыл бұрын
Hi thank you so much. The rod is a Chapmans 11ft Amwell and the reel is a wide drum Allcocks Aerial, hope that’s some help

Lovely film. Which cane rod do you have there? A Dawson’s of Bromley?
