I know Cher has had a lot of surgeries, but she looks amazing. I can relate to Cher having to explain to younger people how in certain parts of her life that there was a lot of times where because of how you looked it was so different how people perceived her & received her. Man I've been trying to explain to my coworkers, many whom are old enough/or young enough to be my grown up kids, that the way I'm treated NOW/today VS how I was judged and treated by people in years past IS DRASTICALLY DIFFERENT than it was in the mid 1990s up to about 2015! Personally I get treated A HELL OF A LOT differently. It often STILL SURPRISES ME & CATCHES ME OFF GUARD how much nicer and more accepting people are of my look and style than they use to be! EXAMPLE: I couldn't walk down the road without being hollered at, screamed at, harassed, and having random items from fast food, rocks, and full OPEN cans of soda, raw eggs, and chewed gum THROWN AT ME from passing vehicles. As well as having CRUEL INSULTS, AND SEXUAL PROPOSITIONS SCREAMED AT ME vs KIND, AND HIGHLY UNEXPECTED KINDNESS YELLED AT ME these days. It's night and day the differences. It's actually quite shocking. Sometimes I find I can't fully articulate how hard it use to be... and how it could affect my view of others, though I tried NOT to ever be judgemental of others, there were times it was REALLY DIFFICULT.

I remember when I started liking Sonny and Cher, they did a "local San Fernando valley" concert I went to with my friends, before they were popular and all my friends and everyone around me said 'How can you like them and you love Cher, she and Sonny will never become famous or anything you have horrible taste"....yeah they all told me that about Jim Morrison and the doors also, like they knew more than me, huh? LOL...I used to dress like Cher, I loved her style..when Sonny and Cher went to England they saw that "they fit right in with London's "Mod look"...they were ahead of their time, when it came to American fashion....

Anyways, as for the book experience I can imagine that would hard but maybe writing about hilarious offset family wouldn't be bad actually might be funny.
