He composed All 7 previous Star Wars (not this one), All 4 Indiana Jones movies, Jurassic Park 1 and Lost world, Jaws and Super man to name a few. I agree. It all started years ago as a light joke about the plot armor for the hero characters, but it's gotten out of hand. People actually believe it now. Nobody seems to mention how most of the rebel-no-names get steam rolled by Stormtroopers in the OT. Or how Obi-wan acknowledged their precision. Or how much the hero characters tend to miss, too. Stormtroopers were precise and ruthless. They were feared for a reason, but at the end of the day, they were "the bad guys". Hence the plot armor.
