I think she doesn’t get enough credit. People forget, she’s not only one of the biggest child stars, but is also a celebrity child. A full double whammy. The first of her kind, really. Aside from maybe like... Drew Barrymore? And she was just from a family with actors, her parents weren’t like chilling with celebs and in the biz. And Drew had a hard enough time. My point is, ok maybe she partied (in a totally normal, even tame, level compared to most people in their early 20s bc she also had a job with hundreds of people working under her and relying on her. She never ended up in rehab (I mean that’s down to genes mostly in my opinion but still, she never even had a serious drug issue for a short time let alone a full blown addiction). She seems kind and like she has a clear and pretty normal way of thinking. She’s aware of her privilege (even among white people) and most of all, again, seems like a kind and level headed person. I think she’s impressive as hell tbh.

That she was finally going to let go of Hannah. I've always loved her growing up with Hannah, and then she cane out as Miley and grew up with us. With two years apart between us i always felt connected to her and represented by her someway. She's always respectful to everyone. As someone from a minority group in the world , i can tell when Artists are just being nice to get fans and stay wanted. Miley was never like that. She was and still genuine ❤️. The amount of love and respect i have for Miley is tremendous bcuz of who she is. No matter how many artists i like, no one beats miley's place in my heart. Why is it that the 3 major Disney stars of our age are all amazing? We’re so lucky We got Miley fighting for LGBTQ+, women, and showing everyone it’s okay to be yourself We got Demi advocating against drug use, supporting addict recoveries, and building positive self esteem And we got Selena advocating for women, dabbling in support for Hispanics, and showing everyone that you don’t need a voice like Demi, Ariana, or Xtina to make music that connects to an audience (which can be copied and pasted into other hobbies/skills) I know they aren’t best friends, or really friends at all, but they all support each other and I think that’s great.
