Exactly. The reason why so many female comedians now are so unfunny is because all of them have basically the same "woke feminist" opinions, none of them are brave enough to state an original thought. They are too cowardice to make actual funny jokes.

There’s just something about Joan that no other comedian has ever had! When I’m feeling down, I watch her interviews or stand up… absolutely hysterical! Her timing, her approach, just the way she pieces the jokes together…. Nothing short of phenomenal. As much as I absolutely love her, I don’t think her comedy would survive in todays society. But Joan took everything that was supposed to hold her back… being a female comedian, aging, being banned from NBC… and absolutely destroyed it and rose above it, becoming a legendary, iconic comedian who’s legacy still lives on nearly an entire decade after her death. I truly admire and love her!
@ambsat

@davidpatterson555 "I don't think her comedy would survive in todays society"...sadly, I think you're right. And how sad a statement is that about "today's society." Truly. I'm so glad I lived through a time with the likes of Joan, Don Rickles, George Carlin etc, when we all knew how to laugh at ourselves, and when taking outrageous shots at our own human nature was a part of our culture. We were better for it, by far, than we are now. We knew how to critically think and take things in context. We've become a sad, angry, politically "correct", "activist" sour, dour, society...with everyone outlawing everything. RIP Joan. We miss you!

Rest in peace Joan. Such a funny talented, simply honest person. Now you are in heaven making God laugh. There will never be another one like Joan. For the bucket list, she was finally were able to return to the Tonight Show because Jimmy has integrity. Just wish that Carson could have gotten over his animosity with her. Especially in that he created it himself. He took the bitterness to his grave. But Joan, God bless her, she always gave to people. She gave them laughs, she gave herself to everyone. She will be greatly missed. Melissa and Cooper, may you find strength and comfort in knowing that your mother made a difference in the world.:)

Seriously one of the most entertaining people of all-time. I feel like the network is in Jimmy's ear like, ok wrap it up, get her off....but they'd be so wrong. This is PERFECT lol I love seeing the other celebrities reactions to her jokes. The laughter is contagious. Immediate endorphin release. Healthy for the heart and soul. Rest in peace Dear Joan. xo

Many of the young people commenting on Rivers' vulgarity on The Tonight Show probably aren't aware that, in her heyday, Rivers was noted for risque, cutting-edge humor. She's a master of bold, brash, shock comedy. Back in the 70s her jokes at the expense of Elizabeth Taylor and other celebrities were quite controversial. Fast forward to 2014, and she has made history by outliving Johnny Carson to make a triumphant return to the Tonight Show, where her career was launched. She got the last word. She's a legend.

***** We are talking about talented people. Saying Paul walker is like saying: 1. Robin Williams 2. Joan Rivers 3. My second cousin Billy Neither Paul or my fictional second cousin Billy belong on that list. Robin and especially Joan were true innovators and icons. Paul Walker was an okay actor with a pretty sparse career. He isn't even close to being on the same level as someone like Joan.
