One mod that would go along with this would be the “much better 3rd person animations” mod. They have an optional file to download called the mandalorian. It makes all pistols held by one hand so it’s very gun slingerish.

I don’t think it works well with revolvers, which is sad. Unless it’s just me. I have the Colt SAA and Ranger Sequoia mods and every time my character pulls the hammer back the left arm fucks up.

My wild west character lore: A retired NCR Ranger after 25 years of service (Start me up, lvl 25 start at Old Ranger cabin, with Veteran Ranger Armor). He went east looking for his former mentor (the mojave manhunter) but to sustain his travels he took odd jobs along the way. One put him on a target also pursued by Kellog. Kellog got the jump on him, and knocked him out. The NCR Ranger is still looking for his mentor, but first he is seeking revenge and his Ranger Sequoia from Kellog. He uses his guerrilla warfare expertise to help train and grow the locals (Minutemen) and support the BoS (they were backed in my NV playthrough). While his partner force develops and his local reputation grows he takes jobs (gun for hire) to support the effort.

Im Actually making a desert modpack right now ! Suprised there isnt a ton more mods for it like there is for ice/winter playthroughs, especially since desp2 and badlands look so fkn good. To bad the nexus drama had to hit as soon as the grand player resurgence came too.

The good thing about the MojaveManhunter outfit is that it's mask has an optional mod called "Situational Awareness Enhancer" that temporarily slows down time when aiming that costs 30 ap. That way you can still have vats and something similar to vafs at the same time. Works great for me since I suck shit at aiming with revolvers :P

Yo Brandy, would you say that converting to the desert landscape for fallout 4 has overall increased fps performance? In a previous video, you said that with everything you have, it offsets but compared to your previous landscape setup, would you say the desert theme is better?

Yea I would say the desert landscape performs better than the nuclear winter setup, mostly because the desert mods remove a good amount of trees. It's not a huge boost, but it'll give you some extra frames

If you use the CROSS_ mods you can make a ncr ranger with it CROSS_ MANHUNTER CROSS_VERTIBRID_FLIGHTSUIT CROSS_COA_COAT THOSE ARE THE THREE I REMEMBER USING for the pistol just go with any revolver mod you want
