Well they have to get close to initiate it, and most bugs die before they can do that. I've had it happen to me several times in the last few days and its always terrifying, first time i've seen how much damage it does though, usually focused on "GET IT OFF ME!' not my health bar.

Yepp those after the Red Rocket Has Station before Concord killed me so many times, were 5x thougher than anything else in that area. And if you tried melee against them they will enjoy you as their bloody lunch

It's happened to me several times. The more rare one is being chomped on by a Feral. I believe it's a "kill" move. Death by "nahm nahm" 😢

You probably found Out in the meantime, but the beacon at the Ferrymans place was active from the beginning. You need to Talk to the Robot at the Rudder to use the Boat. Without further beacons you can at least travel across the River to reach the southeast part, and use the Bridges to get to the southwest.

just gopher not seeing the obvious, nothing special he is a grand, maybe the best lets player but he tends to not pay attention, miss a lot of loot and not see certain things, which makes him awesome as a lp'er notorious for missing loot, blatantly missing important moments because he is ranting for example: he has used a load of the ladders in the game (going nowhere) but did not see the one ladder that would have helped him (the one on the bus leading to Rothersomething) the first time you could see Tower Bridge decently in the background he completly missed it or did not acknowledge it, who knows etc etc its fun to see him wander about and then he picks up something i missed myself absolutely no clue why he does not speak to the robot

You guys often over think these things quite a lot, but often the simplest answer is the correct one :) I didn't see Barry, and I assumed it was because I hadn't activated the beacon there and never thought to actually look for him a little better.

Grab all the Pencils. - Weightless, Wood & Lead. Lead for ammo crafting. Wiley & Clemmie remind me of Mikey & Moss talking about 'Sandwiches' in base Fo4. There are LOTS of poisonous critters in FOLON, not just bloodbugs. Grab poisoners armour if you can.

Gopher, you said on one of your streams that you have know Idea how long this game is and you feel like you have done a lot, yet you feel like you have just started, Gopher, lets just say you have good instincts. I would not be surprised if you came out with 100-150 episodes, I have been way past this part in the main quest where you are, and I can say you haven't even scratched the surface yet. I believe this 'mod' is larger than all of fallout 4 and all its DLC's combined. So, have fun Gopher, and remember, mind the gap!!

Yeah, misremembering the adhesive indeed. The crafted adhesive is Vegetable Starch, made at the cooking station and requiring Corn, Mutfruit, Tatos and purified water; all of which can be produced at a settlement as long as you have the basic seed stock.

Usually you can traverse ankle deep water without taking rads. When it reaches the knees, run.

@@sereenaty I see it as if its only touching the soles of your boots your ok, but when it gets high enough to reach skin you have issues. Depth of water also seems to affect how intense the rads are a lot of the time, I think its cool, more feature than a flaw. Not like the various bugs and omissions which I am wiling to overlook in this incredible mod by such a small team. The more I play the more I find that there is more to discover.

Why don't you show your HUD, or fast travel? Showing the crosshairs would help you not miss so much. Use your VATS to identify friend or foe.

I use a mod called Immersive HUD to hide the HUD when not needed, and I use iron sights for aiming, so no crosshair is needed. Fast travel is something I rarely do, as I prefer to travel the land and discover things etc.
