I think you're misunderstanding the 31,32,33 subplot. The point of the terminal logs scene is to show that all overseers in 33 have been people transferred from 31 to 33. And also you kinda talked over the beginning when Chet and Norm were still in 32, there was another writing on the wall next to the 31 vault door. The fact that the logs scene doesn't show anything about 32 is because Norm is using a terminal from 33. Pretty sure if he'd read the triennial trades logs from a 32 terminal it would be the same situation, all 31 to 32 transfers would be elected overseers. Thats where the last episode and the first Norm and Chet scene in this episode come in play with all the wall writings. Seems like 32 people started to catch up that all overseers came from 31 and started questioning. Because we even see the 32 overseer tied to his chair in his office last episode. And he didn't look like he killed himself like some of the other corpses. That and the fact that the writing on that office wall was "death to management" tells us a lot. 27:57 that also can't be, since we learn from the last episode that the vault was opened from the outside since everyone inside was already dead 2 years ago.

What caused mouse utopias to collapse aren't really applicable in this situation, nor does it seem to match what we see in the show. @@vederianl9723 there were actually multiple mouse utopias, and the intent was to see if moral decay resulted from overpopulation, a popular opinion at the time due to a mixture of misreporting (cause we know the media loves a panic) and misperceptions on the publics part. Modern researchers, when looking at the reports from the studies, have concluded that in actuality the major issue was that the strongest males would stake out large territories, forcing weaker males to crowd together, becoming more violent. Mice that were able to maintain a coherent territory often maintained social norms. Some researchers switched to using human highschoolers for comparable studies and found that a more likely cause was excessive social interaction, not overcrowding. If that's the case, then it makes sense why the internet and social media specifically has given so many people brainworms.

@@DomR1997 They were clearly fighting each other over limited resources due to lack of food, some choose to opt out instead. I think they found out the truth after the chaos of the experiment already was well started. @scubadawgy7 ай бұрын
@anonymoushuman8443 sorry, gotta agree with the OP on this one. While there is some useless info, in this case they used every trick in the book to make it very clear that this info was important and wouldn't go unnoticed. Just curious and an honest question, not trying to be flip at all; do you watch the show on a cellphone or small screen? What they did to make it obvious: It really was on the screen quite awhile. The entire scene was over a minute long and the computer screen was the focus for most of that time. It wasn't a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment. They repeatedly animated the same words (31 to 33 & elected overseer) onto the screen. The animation of the text ensures the viewer would notice it. Repeating the words says “Hey viewer, this is important stuff. Pay attention.” The info wasn’t in the background of the frame. The computer screen filled the entire frame. At one point, they zoomed in so the words ‘31 to 33 & elected overseer” took up the entire frame. Lastly they zoomed in so far the camera had to pan over each word in “31 to 33” individually. Again signaling to the viewer that it was important info. They showed Norm with a very concerned expression on his face as he was reading the terminal. They played foreboding, ominous music the entire scene. They had a close-up on Betty as they announced her victory and immediately switched back to the computer terminal showing her name and the, now familiar words, “31 to 33 & elected overseer” and then they zoomed in on just “31 to 33”. I'm not sure what else the show runners could have done to make it more obvious what the message was.
@nukenarwhal72447 ай бұрын
The confusion most likely comes from peoples brain processing to 31 to 33 in the context of something being an election as the vote ratio. This is backed up by the scene with Betty winning by 95% majority. 1% off 31/33. Like normal elections don’t state where the candidates are from as normal statistical information. So yeah people probably assumed votes, that’s what bad medicine did at first. I think why yes it can be frustrating it’s more then understandable why there’s confusion. Also you’re whining

Can't wait for you guys to play some Fallout on your gaming channel, i'd recommend Fallout: New Vegas 🤠

If you guys like the actress who plays Lucy, you might like her in another show called Yellowjackets. It’s more of a horror/mystery/suspense/drama but I think she delivered an excellent performance there too.

Some of the references you won't get unless you have played the game. Like when you mentioned having to go back and pause to view all the computer screen. One of those screen is the in-game hacking screen that you use to break into computers in the game. To someone who hasn't played the game it just looks like a wall of random characters, but for fans of the game it's something they have seen many times.

Hey! The Fallout series is great! I'm happy you're enjoying it. You guys should react to the Toy Story movies! I’m guessing you guys may have seen the first one but not the others. They are perfect! Anyone else agree?

Nice one as always)) Movie recommendation for you guys "Summer of 84"; It's like Black Phone but better

How do you avoid spoilers, with the whole show being released already?

Maximus really grew on me throughout the show. He’s not perfect, far from it. But he wants to do better and in a world like the one in Fallout that is already miles ahead of everyone else, except Lucy lol

You guys keep referring to the "game" their were 5 cannon games 7 games total. Their are tidbits of info sprinkled in the show from all of them. But I imagine that New Vegas and Fallout 4 will have the most influence.
@JSmoothnyc7 ай бұрын
Vaults 31, 32 & 33 aren’t in the games. It’s vaults specifically for the show. Also vault 4 isn’t in the games. I googled it and all that pops up is the tv show.

The thing I appreciate about these guys is how consistent they are with the content. Other reaction channels I follow take forever to post episodes. These guys really seem to take it serious and exhibit some professionalism and enthusiasm.

7:05 - When Lucy wants to team up with maximus. Kinda an InGame thing as well, the player encounters possible companions and can have one that helps along. Some games allow for multiple followers at same time. If you play together with the Companion and do quests and choices in quests that align with the Companion's morals they will divulge more and more of their own story.

The way you people are trying to piece this together without having played the games is hilarious.

they are in fact tato's gentlemen. I know it sounds like they are being funny but in Fallout tato's are a hardy combination of tomatoes and potatoes.

For the amount of total screen time the ghoul has, he is now one of my favourite characters along side with Captain Jack Sparrow. Walton Goggins did an incredible job.

19:22 In fairness, Norm was the one who went over to 32 in episode 1 on suspicion. It’s possible him coming back and announcing what seemed to have happened was what kicked off the raiders actually attacking, but either way, Norm would be the one to have seen it.

It looked like norm came back after the fight had already started.

notice how the people from vault 31 say potato and the vault 33 residents called them tatos...? hmm...
@scubadawgy7 ай бұрын
A tato is a hybrid potato and tomato in the fallout universe. But it doesn't make sense for them to be in a vault. They were invented on the surface after the vaults were sealed.

For Mr. Answer, to what group do you belong that has the slogan, "Ready, Willing, and Able"? Army? The Doe Fund? Navy Seals? Something else? It's an important idea for you, otherwise I figure you wouldn't claim it for your catch phrase.

Tatos are Tomatoes in Fallout😅 I know, it does sound like potatoes though.

Correct, but it doesn't make sense for them to be in a vault. Weren't they invented on the surface after the vaults were sealed?
@TheCrayonMaster7 ай бұрын
@@scubadawgy I was wondering about that too! Perhaps tatos were experiments. 🤷 Fruit that can survive in the wasteland. Or it's just to be lore accurate.

Vaults 31, 32 and 33 are the only vaults in Fallout that are connected together. All the other vaults are separated by miles and miles of wasteland.
