I've gotten soooo many compliments when I wear the demi wispies. Most people ask if I had extentions or what mascara I use or if I did something different with my eyeliner. For me they are perfect for an extra flair, yet look blended and soft.

Thank you!!❤️ I wish I could use luxury lashes on all my clients but it's too expensive hell even using the $12 eyelure lashes is too expensive!! I love that ardell and others off that same effect if you choose and mix some of the styles!

I would like tips and tricks or an up close demo of a strip lash application. I am a working MUA and still have difficulty finding that sweet spot, where the lash and the lid meet. I have difficulty sliding it in that spot so to speak and then have skin showing through the natural lash and the strip. It’s a tiny bit and I go in the liner, but the times that happens drive me CRAZY!! I’m not sure why it happens on some clients and not others. Obviously some clients have a droopier lid so I gently lift that for placement, but Ahhhh! Help!

I have never thought about a strip lash being difficult on a super wrinkly eyelid but then you said it and I was like omg. I need some individuals STAT. or like the time I accidentally lost a few lashes and part of my inner corner was so sparse. Thank you for all of your tips and your videos. They are such an amazing reference to have. ♥️

The Ardell 110s and Eyelure 020s are my most popular. The Eyelure 020 are very curved so they can be a bit of a challenge to get on certain eye shapes. But I really love them for people who really want lashes but are nervous about wearing them.

Hi Angie! I'm Monika from India. I discovered your channel on Monday and haven't stopped watching your videos since! I'm learning so much! Thank you 🤗 A major problem that I face while applying makeup on myself or other people is hiding texture on skin. I usually practice on my sister and everytime I feel the eye makeup and foundation end up enhancing the texture on the skin instead of hiding it. It's never flawless. Please help!
@AngieDiB7 жыл бұрын
Hi Monika! It is very difficult to cover texture on skin and often times it will always look better in person than on camera. I will definitely try to find models for future videos with texture issues so I can show you some of the tricks I use.

What size do you measure the lash to? As in, how close to the inner corner should the lash be, and on what point of the outer eye should it end? I'm just starting out freelancing, and I sometimes find that flared lashes can make peoples' eyes look a tiny bit droopy... thanks so much for all of your advice on this amazing channel btw! ❤️

Thank you so much for the amazing videos! Question, how would I "offer up" a luxurious lash to a client then just the regular Kiss/Ardell lash? (ie charge more)
@AngieDiB7 жыл бұрын
It's something you would have to discuss prior to the actual makeup application so you can present it as an option when you are discussing pricing.

Hi Angie, great video, editing, and informative! Makeup artists apply mascara with disposable wands, this always makes me wonder, what is the point of investing in a high end mascara since it is usually the wand making a difference in how good the mascara is? I might very well have it all wrong and it is actually the formulation making a difference and the brush makes little difference. I would really appreciate you shedding some light on this. Thank you, in advance.
@AngieDiB6 жыл бұрын
There is no point unless you need it for a specific look/client. I have never used high end mascaras in my kit when I get the job done with formulations from drugstore brands. Quite honestly the impact the wand has on the look of the lashes is not noticeable for a majority of the work I do. I make it work with disposable wands and different formulations of mascara.

Hey Angie! If we want to do a cut crease and put shimmer on the lid, how do we make sure it doesn't transfer to the crease? I never manage to keep the crease matte and clean, the lid color always travels and I don't even have very hooded eyes.
@AngieDiB7 жыл бұрын
You may want to try a damp brush in a shimmery eyeshadow - have the client look down, apply it and have them continue to look down until it dries. This will also depend on the shadow - not all shadows will 'stick' with this method so you have to experiment a little bit with that. It is a challenging thing do to!

I let the glue get tacky on my palette or hand and then dip the individual lashes in and pop them on.

Do you have any tips on how to apply foundation on a client's nose that just won't take foundation?
@AngieDiB7 жыл бұрын
I always make sure the skin is prepped properly (especially around the nose) so a tiny bit of exfoliation, hydration before application sometimes helps. A little bit of primer may help, or certain brands of concealer that are a bit more dry (if you know what I mean) work well on people with that type of problem.

Thanks Angie! :)

Sorry, I have another question. What do you recommend for bronzing African-American skin?
@ogechio16096 жыл бұрын
Covergirl Queen collection in Ebony Bronze, ABH just came out with a couple of deeper bronzers. MAC mineralized skin finish natural in Dark Deep or Dark Deepest, Bobbi Brown bronzers in Dark and Deep. Hope this helps. These are the bronzers that work on my dark skin tone.

But do you offer the more luxurious ones at an extra expense?? or you stick to the price you gave your customer?? It's like making her a gift or something..Is that correct?
@AngieDiB6 жыл бұрын
That's your call as a business owner! If they cost you more to purchase you need to figure that in to what you are charging in order to still make sure you are profiting. Artists do this in many different ways - If you want to price them as an add on to your makeup application you can state that in your pricing. You might want to research some other artists in your area - take a look at their websites and see how they price things out. That will give you a better understanding of how things are priced.
