As someone who has been involved with musical theatre for nearly 50 years (I started performing 4yrs in 1968), this series & the original movie that started it all, became a source of inspiration & encouragement that I never received at home. I never missed an episode, and recorded them all on reel to reel, so I could sit at the piano & learn the songs.
