Regarding Marge and the radish rosettes, I think them being a stupid choice is the point. Marge states, and I quote, "Oh, radish rosettes! These are hard to make. They are a very advanced race". I imagine that this was included as a sneaky joke for people who are into cooking, since only they would realize that radish rosettes are all but a complicated to make and that as such Marge's "they are a very advanced race" comment and her choice of radishes over anything else imaginable is extremely ridiculous, so it's not surprising that most people (I presume) never really questioned it. Maybe you could make the argument it's a failed joke since most people don't recognize it as such and just assume that what Marge says is correct and entirely sensible. Regarding the Bride of the Monster in Mad Monster Party, I actually find her cute in a weird kinda way. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to part 2 and more videos in the future (you've been away for quite a while).

maybe it has something to do with the fact that the original idea behind marge hair is that she is a half bunny human, yeah the idea was scrapped but you can see it in the first simpson videogame

Ok, the fact you have making Christmas as the theme is pure genius. Also, I remembered the monsters ring from when I was a toddler, I eventually discovered and read the book by Bruce Coville (way different, and pretty cool, ending) during elementary school, and looked up the special just this past year.
@FamiliarFacesChannel10 жыл бұрын
There's no Wikipedia entry for that book. Mind telling me how is it different?

FamiliarFacesChannel after getting sufficiently even, he sees the bully getting seriously harassed by three much larger thugs, and in a fit of anger, he turns the ring three times during a full moon, both of which are taboo, and turns into a winged demon with red scales. He scares the tar out of bullies and rescues the little bully, and reveals his identity, and the bully realizes he had been picking on a kid who could become a monster. However, the ring is now gone, and he can't change back, and has to track down the magic shop, which moves like that castle from krull. But, he can fly now, so he tracks it down, and the owner tells him that it'll wear off on it's own, but there'd be side effects, and it ends with him realizing he was now would transform into a monster (still fully aware) during the full moon, and decides to embrace it and have fun. If you go to the local library, it should be under Coville; part of a pretty good series, from what I remember. the shop is the main piece of the story, like Mr Needfuls shop from Rick and Morty.

FamiliarFacesChannel Ah, so here's that Halloween specials list you were referring to in your When Good Ghouls Go Bad video! I'm interested to see which other Halloween specials make the rest of the list when Part 2 is up! Also, I'm curious CR, I was picking up a lot of similarities between The Monster's Ring and R.L. Stine's The Haunted Mask, but you didn't seem to mention it. I know you mentioned in your Top 13 Goosebumps Books video how much you liked The Haunted Mask, so I was wondering if you noticed the similarities between HM and MR, and in your opinion, which do you think did the kid-uses-magical-accessory plot better? Personally, I like the way Haunted Mask portrayed it over Monster's Ring.

I have read online that Lisa can sometimes be a bit of a know-nothing-know-it-all, at least in the sense that she thinks she's better than everyone else only she's not so different. Obviously she got it from Marge. Marge probably thinks of herself as a connoisseur of food or something. Dunno. Also I've never seen that Simpsons episode, but I can already tell that the twist in it is that the aliens are actually planning to eat the Simpsons and are fattening them up. Or at least that's what it appears to be. Probably was inspired by one of the more famous episodes of The Twilight Zone: How to Serve Man. Saw Mad Monster Party last year and really enjoyed it. I loved how that Igor sounded like Peter Lorre, since he's one of my favorite caricatures. Thank Looney Tunes for that.

Ed was a Former Disney Animator 2:This was aired in the Third Dimension. 3: The Book has a Plot Twist. 4: I Think it was the Writer's Intention. She was going to be a Rabbit. 5: My Idea was that they wanted to air the 1967 Movie but couldn't. I think it was for Syndication so they could choose one of them. I think she's Ugexy.
