I don't know if anyone will see this comment, maybe y'all can pin it if you feel so inclined. Hey people who love Roots & Refuge: want to know a super easy way you can financially bless this family? Don't skip the ads. I know sometimes you have to; nobody wants to watch a ten minute long screamfest about "pulling up to my sick mansion, getting out of my sick car" - however, I just learned this week that that's the most profitable way that a monetized channel is rewarded financially. So let the ad play, if you can help it. This family gives us their hearts and souls; it's the least we can do. Bless you guys!!

It's the dominicker chicken that led the escape! I have one rogue chicken and she's a dominicker. She's the only 1 that can get out and she teases the rest the chickens with her freedom lol! The baby piglets are SO cute! Miah, I feel your pain. I rushed outside the other night to flip a feeders upside down so they wouldn't hold water and make sure all the lids were tight on the feed cans and somehow managed to leave the lid off of $70 worth of show pig feed.....fortunately it didn't rain until the next morning after I had caught my flub. I think it is amazing that you guys rescued your horses. ❤

I've got the old Craftsman/sears multi pack for about 15 yrs, still running, batteries have had to be replaced, couple times. A smooth trotting horse was a blessing back in cowboy days & traveling lg ranch pastures. Have safe HOA trip

You need a camera that you can wear on your head since you always need 2 hands to do what you do. We dig a big hole and put DE in it. They chickens go in it an take a dust bath in it and that seems to keep the mites away. I feel the same way about changing seasons with the exception of winter. I always want it to leave earlier than it wants too. Sometimes here in Montana winters last way too long.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see you guys work with your horses more and make a video especially for having a "homestead horse"!! Theres alot of equestrians that get very serious about the horse thing and spend an extraordinary amount of money on there horses which is understandable if your competing in professional events and stuff but not too many people talk about how to care for just an old family trail horse. I feel like the way horse ownership is portrayed alot of the time makes people feel unable and nervous to care for a horse. I would love to see a vlog or maybe a few vlogs on how you guys care for your horses and work with them to show everyone that it doesn't have to be such an extravagant expense and that they are truly just as normal as any other homestead animal. 😊 Prayers for a safe trip to HOA you guys!! ❤❤

We have always used craftsman until Hubby bought a used dewalt drill. I love using it and it has been a great drill. We bought a new dewalt drill the other day...had it 2 hours and drilled 5 holes (running electric wire) and burned the motor up!! It was so hot and had the worst smell!. We were so surprised and the store was as well.

Tip for wet electronics and tools is also to put them in a tub of rice. It works really well. You can also put a few grains of rice in your salt shaker if its clumping up from humidity :)
