It’s totally possible they do have video of him acting out and he just didn’t record himself behaving badly. When he was speaking to her, he asked her not to follow him and to move to another aisle. Further, when he was quietly walking away, “Karen” was telling the police he was being hostile. A classic Karen move...reporting to law enforcement authorities things that never happened but will definitely have the effect of causing the police to show up prepared to lay hand on the “hostile customer”.

If you are told by store security to cooperate and you don't, that is most certainly being hostile. Hostile doesn't necessarily mean physically violent. But the fact that the store had to call the cops says he likely was on the verge of physical violence. Refusing to leave the store certainly qualifies .

(proof to file this lawsuit) well, by allowing their employees to treat customers in this manner, it makes them liable and subject to a law suit. this type of treatment is common at Walmart blacks have been complaining for years. Crazy how times have changed I grew up in Vacaville and as a kid went to that Walmart all the time. As an adult now, I can truly relate to what he is talking about. The employees there are truly racist and prejudice. One morning when I got off from work in San Francisco heading home to Sacamento I stopped at that Walmart. I was getting some diapers and out of other shoppers a White male employee asks me "Can I help you find anything?" Clearly I knew what I came for and didn't look like I needed assistance. Another time a White female cashier recommended I go to the cashier next to her yet didn't say anything to the four shoppers behind me and I was next up to get my two small items rung up. A final time I finished paying for my items and noticed the person in front of me only had to flash her receipt upon exiting and when I held mine up the lady came close to actually read my receipt. After experiencing all that I just chose to avoid that specific Walmart location. Alot of us Black Men are out here working and handling our biz, we do not deserve to get treated in these types of manners.

I worked 12 years at Walmart and trust me this is how the asset protection associates act. They not only do it to customers but also employees. I remember I had to exchange a pair of headphones one time so as I walked to the back to get a new pair while the old pair was up a customer service, two of them followed me all the way back to electronics while I picked up my new headphones and then they followed me all the way back up to customer service. I can't work for somebody that doesn't trust me. Walmart can burn.

The LP at mine were cool. They had to be careful about how friendly they got with the rest of us or risk being transferred due to conflict of interest. They were a lot better at blending in too. This is one reason why I dread going to any store. There’s always the feeling that you’re being followed, either through surveillance or on foot. I have been followed around and questioned by clerks so I know the feeling. I’ve been pulled over and questioned by county police while working my route so I know that feeling as well. So whether it's an annoying nutcase bouncing a ball or a satanic nutcase with a gun and badge, it’s pretty pathetic.

I remember a time I was at a Chili's restaurant. The one I went to had gone defunct and I was approached by the manager about something. I don't know what it was about but I told her about these out of town businessmen who come over. I gave her a description and he was from places like Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey, Topeka, Kansas, Omaha, Nebraska, mostly midwest or east coast. She told me I was causing problems I don't go around looking for it. I wound up calling another Chili's restaurant and asked for the telephone number of the district manager or area supervisor and reported her. Is it a crime to go to a restaurant and strike up a conversation with someone you don't know? A lot of out of towners would rather go to a bar and chew the fat with someone rather than stay in a hotel room and watch reuns of Family Affair. I find the show kinda nauseating.

I never watched anyone unless they were tweakers. A followed a couple of teens because I literally saw them pocketing merchandise. It had to be super obvious for me to stop what I was doing to watch or follow them. Most of the time I called a manager and let them deal with it. Most sketchy folks were white and on drugs. I lived in a small city that was a melting pot so we had many different people of all backgrounds shopping. Now I work at another retailer and could care less because I have no time and don't need that stress. It's so much more quiet and calm there compared to Walmart.
