Evil Intentions

On December 19th of 1995, as the Christmas holiday approached, residents of the Pelham Parkway section of the Bronx would watch as a horrific scene unfolded. While most of us were getting ready for festivities, five families were getting ready to bury their loved ones. All because of one monster and his mission to leave no survivors. My heart and condolences go out to all the families and loved ones affected by this tragic event. May they always rest in peace. You are never forgotten.

My mom walks into my room as I was watching this, and asks me what am I watching, I told her it’s about this deranged man that killed people over boots, she asked me what year this happened and I said back in 1995, she proceeds to tell me that the kids were my fathers friends kids totally mind blown !! My dad used to always go to their dads mechanic shop back in the day and take me with him. Their father was amazing kind and a real friend to my father, unfortunately he passed away due to lung cancer years ago😢

I noticed that back in the 90s, the cops of NYC were not good at their jobs. If a criminal tells u that he knows about sniper jobs and tells u he killed to cabbies. How on God's green earth did this demon get a second chance at freedom.

@Jose thank you for this. If I may, the boy you named Rafael is actually Ricardo. And the boy named as Ricardo is Rafael. The yak bak he had was a gift from my mother. Rafael was my friend from the 1st grade up to junior high school. He was my date to the 5th grade dance in elementary school. Our theme “under the sea” he and I painted a huge mural and it was post in the cafeteria. This day could’ve been an even worse nightmare. My mother and cousin crossed paths with Vernon. Mami said she didn’t feel right about something so she and my cousin left the store. Seconds later shots were heard yards from the store where my mother and cousin fell to the ground to avoid getting shot. Mom picked me up from school and was in tears. She asked me for a picture album I had with Ralphie and me, I showed her and she balled in tears. But I didn’t know why. Next morning I wake up because to turn the tv on, only to see Ricky and Ralphie’s face on the news. Man oh man did my world fall apart. That news paper entitled “Slain at the shoe store” is in my storage unit. I’ll never forget them. Jose thank you for this. God bless you.

Hello, thanks for your comment! I noticed the newspaper had the names swapped in different papers so I made sure to just show both of them whenever I could. I knew they made an error there. That is very very sad. I have to look again but I think I had came across name class photo with one of the boys. I'm so sorry for your loss. This was so senseless.

Your channel is presented with total adherence and reverence for the families. IT IS NOT UNNOTICED. I wish so many more "true crime" channels would utilize 1/100th of your integrity and decorum of a note on how you present your videos. Thank you. It has its moments, but overall the Bronx of 2023 is better than the Bronx of the 1970's and 80's. Lots more buildings & better parks. The main problems are still there but to a lesser degree: Drugs & crime mainly. Lots of homelessness, poverty and a lack of jobs. It's also getting slowly gentrified and property owners are trying to price out NY's with rents from $2500 to $3500.

How are you EvilIntentions? I’ve been a subscriber for a year now I think and LOVE this Channel. As a fellow NYer as well, I appreciate the stories told and the focus on the Victims. However I have ONE small recommendation. In a addition to all these sad stories about life taken way too soon -- perhaps you add some sad stories that eventually end up as a blessing. There are stories out there like saved from kidnappings, attempted robberies Intercepted, child abduction plans foiled, shootings of people who survived and in turn end up doing great things like bringing awareness. Even the Central Park 5 case Ends well cause the falsely accused both got payments from the City and Yusuf (iirc) became a city councilman. One story like that that amongst such sadness (preferably around Christmas to curate the Christmas miracle vibe) would balance the sadness with a powerful tale of perseverance. Your channel is great without a doubt tho!!!

Huge fan of yours after just a few videos, I love your take on around where you live and showing the areas that these crimes happen, very unique

Sitting outside on my porch enjoying the peace and quiet, hearing stories like these have taught me how lucky I am to have grown up in a town of under 200 people, yes, its pretty boring but nothing is better than not being shot at......or robbed or victimized in any way, get out of the city's people and leave the drama behind.

I agree I live in the beautiful Mountains of Kentucky and I feel extremely lucky and blessed to not fear of being shot at, car jacked, robbed, or murdered when I walk outside my home..

If a serial killer goes to your town you have a high chance of being murdered whereas the chances in NYC would be 1 out of 8.5 million people.

So horrible and incomprehensible! He destroyed 5 lives, one a child, and shattered the lives of their loved ones. And at Christmas. And for WHAT? Where is he now? Ugh. It just makes me so angry and sorry for them. I'm sure he ruined his own fam as well. Shameful. Things get more and more senseless every day. Well...not if you believe the Bible. I hope they are all at peace, those who passed and those left behind. Thank you Jose. Have a safe and joyous holiday🙏🏼💔🪽😮‍💨🎄
