What a wonderful video. I do wish you would go a wee bit slower though. The music was perfect; so melancholy and haunting, what is it please. I like that you narrate the video, which lots of explorers do not. Thanks for sharing this wonderful find and where ever this family went, I hope they are well, or at least, at peace. Well done.

This was absolutely beautiful. Zoflora box in the kitchen was quite recent but it's obvious no one has slept there for long time. Maybe someone keeps an eye on it? The steps were awesome! Bizarrely the seat under the bedroom window with the gloves on at 10:38 is actually a commode. I know because I'm disabled and it matches mine 🤦♀️😂 The NHS ones look so bloody obvious so when I found this old lovely vintage one I knew that was it 👍😂 it's the first time I've ever seen a matching one 😂😂😂 Truly gorgeous home you found there 💖💖

@언졀러 Angela ...... So sad. You would think that someone could buy it for what taxes is owed on it and it wouldn't be empty. I very always thought that empty houses would cost more in the long run. I’m led to believe that an old couple lived in this house and would have a lot of visitors eg.Grandchildren stay around and perhaps one of them fell ill and passed so the other was taken into care or both of them, that would explain the house left in such a manner and it seems as though they took some stuff with them like clothes as the wardrobes weren’t full and the pile of clothes could’ve been left by them in a rush as they had no need to sell the house. I’d say by the condition of this house it has been abandoned for no more than 15 years.

Adam Mark no problem, It looked worth the travel, I’m glad that everyone has shown the place respect so far and hopefully long into the future. People have got taller each generation. A lot of old UK properties have low ceilings. We owned a 17th century Pub in North Devon and all the ceilings are like this. Most cottages have these ceilings and it adds to the atmosphere. Very easy to heat as there is no high ceiling to loose the warm air, very cosy!

Certainly not eighty's even though there is old stuff there, Two things points to post 2006 the Sony stream engine VHS player and the coins of England Book, Also all the rooms have chamber pots in them not just the nurses room. Many reasons it might have been left could be too expensive to keep, alcohol problem (whiskey bottles everywhere), death or divorce as the first things i would take is my wedding photos if all is happy and i have to go. I Think they left in a hurry, due to all of the wardrobes and bedroom cupboards (often where important stuff are kept) have been emptied and no vehicles considering they have a car repairs garage.

A few modern items of the past two years, perhaps someone kept an eye on the property. I see such a past beauty in old houses. That adds to its elegance. The black & white photo, of a lady of the 1920s seen in someone's home. I see such sadness when people vacate. I seem to think with thses homes. Plus the lack of housesing, it could be perhaps acceptable that it should be sold. Many of thses homes. Land up in terrible condition. With History. I sense a deep sadness.. I would love thses homes to see how they could be renovated. But very interesting. Thankyou...
