Gary is the most emotional, outstanding, the best gutarist ive ever heard. when you listen to gary moore you can feel it in your whole body. no other guitarist and musician have had such an emotional and inspirational impact on me when it comes to music. he had the speed and stamina of a metal guitarist, the emotion and licks of a blues player, and the tone from heaven. "Still got the blues"- "The Messiah Will indeed Come Again"- we miss you Gary.

That part of the solo from 4:29 to 4:40 is one of the most amazing things I've ever heard from a guitarist. Gary Moore played from his heart and soul, you can just feel it pouring out. He's a one of a kind.

In the 1980's there was an abundance of technical guitar wizards (Vai, Becker, Satriani, Malmsteen etc.) but Gary Moore combined technical skill with listen-ability. His guitar solos are captivating and make you sit up and listen, which is very rare. They have feeling and emotion, and are not over-indulgent shredding.
@Ian-lg9gp2 жыл бұрын
I agree. I can listen to those "shreddy" guitarists for only so long. Gary was something else.
@fredericgilchrist12462 жыл бұрын
I agree with you.... Gary had the skill but also the heart for AWESOME songs and some songs i can't imagine never hearing, but since Feb 6th 2011 all we have is his 40 years of playing and i have it all on cds but wished he had a longer life to make more but i am thankful for what he did record and i try to pass his mysuc on to younger people that might never hear of him. a decent thing on the MSN site was the 65 best guitarists of all time and Gary wasn't in it.... he should have been #1 but i have seen him referred to as "the best guitarist you never hear of" and Clapton rated so high... what a joke!!!!!

It’s weird, but just lately I’ve been listening to this a lot, it takes me back to before I got married, 1986! Used to put this on jukebox where I worked.... and I’ve always liked it! 💕💕 makes me very nostalgic for those days and the Eighties too..... Marriage didn’t last, but I’m still here! Lol 😆 Wonder if this COVID thing is making many of us THINK too much!? Gary was extremely talented! Sadly missed 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💕💕💕💕❤️❤️❤️RIP 🇬🇧🇬🇧

Loneliness is your only friend. A broken heart that just won't mend is the price you pay. It's hard to take when love grows old. The days are long and the nights turn cold when it fades away. You hope that she will change her mind, but the days drift on and on. You'll never know the reason why she's gone. You see her face in every crowd. You hear her voice, but you're still proud, so you turn away. You tell yourself that you'll be strong. But your heart tells you, this time you're wrong. You hope that she will change her mind, but the days drift on and on. You'll never know the reason why she's gone. Empty rooms, where we learn to live without love. Empty rooms, where we learn to live without love. Empty rooms, where we learn to live without love. Empty rooms, where we learn to live without love. Empty rooms, where we learn to live without love. Empty rooms, where we learn to live without love. Empty rooms, where we learn to live without love. All alone in an empty room. Lonliness is your only friend, hooh. Oh, she's gone and you're at the end.

R,I.P. Gary Moore, I have been following Gary Moore ever since he was with Thin Lizzy, I believe Gary Moore was one of the most influential Guitar players, with all due respect I believe and I'm sure you can agree that the all time best guitar player was and probably still is, was the legendary Jimmy Page of the Iconic Led Zepplin, but Gary left us to soon and I believe he a lot more music to give us and I really considering his passing away, he should surely be inducted in the R.R.H.O.F Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame,because he left a legacy for us to enjoy when we listen to his music. Standing "O" for Gary Moore You will be missed and Thanks for all the music you left us
