If you are a biriyani fan, definitely you will like that Brinjal Gravy. It was very special, In some specific restaurants, people will eat biryani for that brinjal gravy. The actual name of that Brinjal Gravy is called Bagara Baingan, it was a Hydrabadi Dish dish that gives a tangier flavour like sour and sweet. In today menu I have taken this Bagara Baingan because you people requested it. Today I am going to show you a perfect restaurant-style Bagara Baingan especially with Biriyani. This video is in Tamil. But we added English subtitles as well.

Here are the ingredients for this Bagara baingan recipe.
Groundnut oil [கடலை எண்ணெய்] - 5 tbsp
Mustard seeds [கடுகு] - 1\2 tsp
Dry chilli [மிளகாய்] - 2 nos
Cumin seeds [சீரகம்] - 1\2 tsp
Onion [வெங்காயம்] - 2 Medium
Garlic paste [பூண்டு பேஸ்ட்] - 1 tsp
Ginger paste [இஞ்சி பேஸ்ட்] - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder [மஞ்சள் பொடி] - 3/4 tsp
Chilli powder [மிளகாய் பொடி] - 1 tsp
Coriander powder [மல்லி பொடி] - 1 tsp
Tamarind [புளி] - 25 gms
Salt to taste [உப்பு]
Jaggery [வெல்லம்] - 1 tsp
Brinjal [கத்தரிக்காய்] - 250 gms
Peanut [வேர்க்கடலை] - 4 tsp
Sesame seeds [எள்ளு விதைகள்] - 1 tbs
Coriander seeds[ தனியா] 1 tbs
Dry chilli [ மிளகாய்] - 3 nos
Desiccated coconut [உலர்ந்த தேங்காய்] - 2 tbs
Refined oil for frying [சுத்திகரிக்கப்பட்ட எண்ணெய்]
