It is close to Sugarloaf Mountain, which classifies Farmington a resort town and I’m sure being a college town as well, it didn’t hurt business any when dads visited their kids. With the divorce rate as it is, many of those dads would be single or unfaithful. Think about it. What better place to have a meaningless illicit liaison than in the middle of nowhere? Less of a chance of it coming back to haunt you, in your daily life.

I swear I'm not making that up. It was an absurd little place. I was visiting a friend who was a student there with my sister. They trafficked 40 teenagers over a decade on Mexico, Spain, Argentina, USA and Brazil, were they were captured by Interpol. 10 of their victims filed 2 civil suits in LA last year. They manage the abuse as a cult, as 5 babies were born fathered by this criminal. The singer had her daughter dead in mysterious circumstances. Camille Vasquez is part of her legal team, but she is having hard time of proving not being involved, as she acted as Ghislaine Maxwell and Allison Mack, using false promises and their fame to groom the minors.

I’ve noticed this lots of times!! People choosing their friends by that they look identical to themselves: even having the same beliefs, values (or lack there of), etc., all of them having the same interests. I can predict what their next love interest is going to look like by how they chose in the past (a pattern). It’s just a manifestation of the shallowness of some people. There’s no growth; because, there’s no one to challenge them, and to introduce new ideas for critical thinking.

Opposites no longer attract, in this age we tend to look for our own mirror. Prof. Vaknin said this. Unfortunately, he's right.
@retsaMinnavoiG5 ай бұрын
In my experience that is generally true for friends groups but I would say that if anything people absolutely are choosing partners different to themselves... Let's not pretend that 30+ years ago people didn't stay within their social group for essentially their whole life.

She was just the scapegoat and accepted the fall instead of death. Two individuals from the financial world had also been involved, but their powerful law firms bailed them out. One of their lawyers paid her a visit in jail before the trial, and the rest is history.

My head is spinning with this shocking story! This story is filled with so many important life lessons. Few are listed here... 1) Physical beauty does not necessarily reflect personality. 2) Life coaches that speak in abstract are likely manipulators. 3) Narcissists often develop a huge following. (That says a lot about us as a population. Look at Trump's following.) 4) How a person treats the less influential people is telling. 5) Successful people might be scammers. 6) A woman who likes to make other women look like her is a great character for a Hollywood movie!
@carbon14795 ай бұрын
You should cover Carlos Castaneda, that was a scary situation and several of the women in his cult self-deleted when he died. Classic cult conditioning and dislocation, cutting family ties, brainwashing, etc..
