Imagine the movie about Syd Barrett. It'll be an obscure visual trip into the late 60-s with lots of topics to discuss.(ups and downs in his relationship with band mates, LSD consuming, great fall as a result and so on). Heartbreaking ending in abbey road studio in 80-s(during ,,wish you were here,, recording) will surely cause a nice stack of tears. (but still don't know who would portray him RIGHT)

The problem with a Prince or David Bowie biopic is who would play them? I don't see any actors available at the moment who could do either of them justice. And the biopics would have to be extremely well done and the actors superb for me to even want to see someone else playing Prince or David Bowie.

Hear me out here. Rob Thomas/Matchbox Twenty. He was abused by his parents, his mother barely survived cancer under his care, he dropped out of school, lived homeless a few years, played in small bands, got jailed for stealing a car, joined the band tabithas secret, almost signed a deal before breaking up, being introduced to Cook and Doucette and forming mb20, debuting with the masterpiece yourself or someone like you, became rockstars, did a boatload of cocaine, Thomas accidentally had a son, they cleaned their act up, Thomas wrote smooth with Santana, got a solo career and now their rockstars.

one interesting bio pic would be that of Cydni Lauper. She has a very interesting career starting as a back up and cover singer in the 70s, damaged her voice in the late 70s, was told she would never sing again, then retrained her voice to sing better then she ever did before to international success throughout the 80s.

I've said it once and I'll say it again. Warren Zevon was and is one of the best and yet most underrated musicians of all time. He's one of the few people who can make an entire album that's flawless knowing he's dying (of cancer no less) and his work was so vast and changing. Not to mention some the musicians and people he's worked with over the (Stevie nicks, counting Crows, Styx and as random as it is Billy Bob Thornton. Rock and roll Hall of Fame won't even give him a look and debate whether he should be in your not for years. Given that the Rock and roll Hall of Fame is a huge now but I'm getting sidetracked. All I'm saying is if you don't know him you should lookand if you do know who he is then good for you for knowing good talent and having great taste!🤘🏻✌🏻

I would have loved to have seen a bio pic of Stevie Ray Vaughan with Sam Rockwell playing Stevie and Michael Madsen playing Stevie's older brother Jimmy. And possibly, during the closing credits, show Stevie Ray &Double Trouble's live from Austin performance of Riviera Paradise. That is THE most beautiful live performance I've ever seen. It still brings tears to my eyes, everytime I watch it.
