Well, she does, but 'cause - doing that high notes each time - would have damaged her voice. What I consider is that, even if she lipsync them, the recording is her own voice so it means that, if she wants, she can reach them, as she showed in All by myself in August 2016

Yes. The riff after the big long note isn't there in that clip... it's actually from 2015, so it's only been about 2-3 years since then. It's different from the playback she's used since 2008... From the belt she just goes to the next note rather than the riff she usually pulls off. I thought it was playback at first as well, but it's completely different. She performed pretty much every song of hers live that night, including "I Surrender" for the first time ever in her career. The fact that so many believe that it's playback, just proves that she nailed it that night. It's incredible!

Yes I'm always amazed that even 50 yrs old Celine has a great voice. Every vocalist out there would kill for her vocal stamina & longevity. And I agree... the playback is a recording of her raw , natural vocals without autotune or computer enhancement so she has every right to lip sync to it so long as she updates them with her current voice which she does. You'd have to be a complete moron to sing 15-20 songs, 3-4 nights a week (Vegas shows) completely live. She would not have a voice anymore if she did!

A little bit of Grandé please. Yea she's hit whistles on snap. She's never sung this high in any live setting. She doesn't have any good whistles above an E6/F6 on her good days she can do a bearable G6/G#6...anything above that is eh. And forget about 7th octave whistle notes and phrasing (which is what the emotions run is)
