Thanks for the video dude, it's helped me make my mind up. I'm going for two 15mm Noctua fans purely for space saving and cable management. Temp and R23 scores aren't so drastically different that it really matters to be honest! Great video, looking forward to more T1 content!

Great, you’re right. Currently running the two 15mm Arctic P12 Slim fans. I could squeeze better thermals with one 25mm fan or top-hat but you save yourself hassle and space. I recommend that you make some adjustments to tune your specific CPU. I currently run a -19 co with a 92c thermal limit. This setup gets about 28,100 on CB23. I didn’t test this configuration because curve optimizer really varies from CPU to CPU.

Great video. I have 4 T1’s all with aios. All 4 of my builds use a nfa 12x15mm fan and a t30 fan. Never have had cooling issues. I would definitely recommend getting the contact frame as you showed. I saw a decrease in temps with just that.

@@juanf9764 I can make a video on GPU temps, however the GPU has stayed cool with a high of 65c and idling at 34-38c.

@@juanf9764 with 45mm you have the option of using all slot configurations. You’d just have to decide which card you’re using. If you’re going with 30/40/80/90 founders edition then 3 and 3.2 slot will be your options.

Great vieo. My T1 V2 2.1 uses a 25mm rad and 2 25mm fans all from EKWB, and a air cooled 4080FE with R5 7600X @ 5.2Ghz

Nice specs, you’d think these GPUs would struggle in these cases but my 4080 S FE idle at around 34-38c

Thermal performance isn't the primary reason for swapping fans, it's the fan noise and pitch. If fan A is quieter than fan B, fan A can be ran at faster speeds, which also drops temps a bit. Comparing all the fans at same speed isn't as useful as noise normalized testing for that reason. And even with noise normalized testing the pitch is unaccounted for, and pitch of the fan can make it more annoying even if it is quieter than another fan that's louder but lower pitched.

Can I ask you if the GPU stays cool enough to keep the fans at zero when the PC is idle or browsing, watching videos and other things like that?

I have zero worries about my 4080 Super FE in this case, idles around 34c. No undervolting or overclocking… stock. When I’m exporting a 10 minute 4K video in H.265, temps get up to 55-60c.

Hi how did you mount the 2x 25mm fan? Was only the aio grill cover needed only?

Mounted the fans onto the radiator, to mount the AIO top hat you just need those thumb screws to secure the top

Interesting. Dual Silverstone air slimmer 120mm fans would be my choice in this case. It’s the best performing slim fan according to these tests: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gKu5YYGYrJisZ7Mfeature=shared

I think when building in a small ITX you have to be somewhat comfortable with some performance and thermal hits. I think two 15mm fans offers a good deal while taking up less space and in the T1 space is like gold. I'll look into the Silverstone fans, I probably have 10 different models of 25mm fans but just one 15mm fan from Arctic.
