If Heaven is described as a place of perfect peace and no worries, no cares (the Third Heaven), do we honestly believe that our loved ones are looking back down at this wicked sinful world WORRYING about us, observing the sinful things we are doing good or bad? As much as I miss my momma I am glad she is absent from the body and present with The Lord and not thinking about this wicked world anymore. Once you are dead and gone to be with The Lord would anyone honestly want to think about this wicked world once you are gone?

i hate to compare, but there's a mark difference between tasia and jennifer. there's no doubt jhud can sang, but i think tasia does more than sanging, she's uninhibited, charismatic, she tugs your soul, she connects, she's not afraid to mingle with the crowd. there's something about her spirit that pulls one to her and her stage presence is beyond any other and with all that she's so humble. she's just the total package.

Fantasia puts her entire soul into her singing. She doesn't hold back and it's almost like she can't help it....it doesn't matter what she's singing, she's taking you for a ride. Everybody can't do that

Personally, I don't feel JH as Aretha. I know Aretha picked her personally, and but I read in an interview years ago it was toss up between both Fantasia and JH in Aretha's mind. But I personally would have prefered Fantasia! I know for a fact that Aretha personally said that Fantasia and Ledisi were "her girls". And if we look at Fantasia she is like Aretha in the sense she can sing ANYTHING. She is also the child of a preacher. Grew up with many similar if not near identical life experiences. Fantasia would pour her heart and soul into the role. After seeing Fantasia in The Color Purple I am convinced she should have been the one. However JH is going to kill it. We know she can act (Dreamgirls). And she is going to sing well. I'm just partial to Fantasia because she has a true holy anointing on her voice. I don't get that with JH. Just my opinion.

OM goodness Fantasia, Fantasia, Fantasia!! She went in deep !!! I've listened to this selection several times, and every time I'm bought to tears.. any time she take her shoes off and that bottom lip starts quiverig you know she going deep in her soul!!!
