Considering you also receive the nicely remastered "Far Cry 3" with the season pass I think it's a good value as I purchased the Gold Edition of the game, I would have paid the additional season pass price just for the new-gen "FC3" alone. Value is subjective, I really enjoyed "Hours of Darkness" & enjoyed taking my time with it, haven't tried the last two DLC additions yet but they look fun from the little I've seen on them.

I very much enjoyed Hours of Darkness my first time through and it was definitely the best of the 3 DLC, but during the second run I was already super burned out on it. Two hours of content (if we are being generous) isnt good enough when compared to some of the other expansions and patches we are getting these days either for free or similarly priced. Including FC3 was a good inclusion but the game is only 6$ on steam already.

Played the first episode of this and I felt like...like I was being shit on. I took a shower, and never played it again. It wasn’t fun, it wasn’t challenging...it wasn’t funny. I’m hoping Mars/Vietnam are better. FC5, New Dawn are dirt cheap during XB1 sales these days which is why I got em. Great games overall (for a discounted price)

The missions and the score attacks were fun the first time around for me but once I did/got all the rewards it took me maybe 2-2 1/2 hours and never touched it again

This is the fault of players for wanting to purchase stuff when it comes out. If they had waited, the DLC was all FREE with FC5 in the Steam Summer Sale PLUS it came with FC3 and all FC3 DLC. A bargain !

We can get complete games again. All we have to do is simply stop buying dlc. Any and all dlc. Let them realize we will pay for quality, not just because they are adding stuff later. My biggest issue is destiny 2. I love the game. I want to keep playing but the new dlc plus annual pass is $20 more than what I paid for the original d2 including season pass!!!! Wtf bungie!?

Dude I was burned so hard by D2. I skipped the first one because I didnt have a PS4 at the time, so I was fucking stoked when they announced PC support for the sequel. I played the shit out of it at released but 3 weeks later when I had all 3 classes capped at 305 power level and they didnt add anything for months on end I was super frustrated and quit. The idea they got rid of having to roll for stats on gear and some of the more outlandish exotics is so frustrating. They tried so hard to balance the game for competitive eSport multiplayer that they ended up killing both PVP and PVE. Now they have the absolute gall to charge for Forsaken when they have burned and lied to their playerbase for the last year. I had so much faith in Bungie, I played some MLG Halo 2 back in high school and loved them. For them to convert me into someone who doesnt trust a thing they say is really nothing shy of ridiculous.

For the Quinn! I agree 100%. I just don't understand how people are maxed out within a week. Not to mention the lack of community from day 1. I still have not completed any raid on d2. Between the constant nerf/boosting and garbage matchmaking ability, I play it one night a week just to get the weekly challenges done. And forget pvp. It's not even worth playing any more

I got really lucky and got in with this super tight knit clan that had come out of playing Ark for D2, so I had it easier gearing than others. Yeah not even just maxed gear in a week, max gear on 3 fucking characters in a week lol. Its crazy how fast people capped out.

The zombie DLC was simply awful. Compared to hours of darkness and lost on mars which had a form of different environment all be it still lacking mission variety, zombies was just made in the arcade and feels no different to shooting peggies in the main game. Not to mention that the zombies are just reskinned angels from the base game. Lazy developers. The whole thing was just such a missed opportunity. The fact they could charge for the zombie one is insulting. At least they added new game + which the game desperately needed. I literally picked up the season pass for like £12 as it was on sale mainly just to get hours of darkness and the far cry 3 remake. I didnt want mars or the shit zombie one, but it was cheaper to get hours of darkness and far cry 3 classic in this bundle.

The DLC trilogy as a package was a joke, with the zombies one being the clear worst. I'm right there with you. I actually wasnt a big fan of Mars either tbh, Hours of Darkness was my favorite strangely enough.

@@bend7726 Yeah I was really sold on the Vietnamese map I think. The whole 'Youre on your own, better make your escape to the rendevous' schtick really worked for me, felt like I was in Platoon or something lol. No replayability of course, but the first 3 hours were very good in my eyes.

Ubisoft shanghai just rushed it, there's alot of things they could of done with the environment that just weren't there.

Vietnam handily beats mars based on quality? What? Vietnam was a boring, repetitive expansion that didn't add any thing new. Lost on mars felt like an actual expansion. No way in hell vietnam was better. In fact mars was THE ONLY GOOD expansion. No clue why every one hates it. That said, vietnam and zombies were so shit that I don't know why they didn't just go all in on a mars expansion like they did for blood dragon. Would have been way better than what we got if they actually tried.

Thats fine man, everyone can have a valid opinion here. The reason I liked Vietnam was that it was streamlined, atmospheric, and the stealth mechanincs (while overly shallow) were atleast something new. Mars was much bigger, sure, but it was the same thing over and over again for 5 hours for the most part, the added weapons destroyed the base game weapon economy, and it is so incredibly grating to me that they would force the premise of radio towers on us again. Throw in the incessant Hurk dialogue and it just made me more and more frustrated the further into it I got. If you liked it, more power to you, it wasn't for me. My main frustration with all of them, culminating with this last one, is that they are all so significantly worse than what they are capable of providing. Each of them felt phoned in, just enough to say they provided something for the cost of the season pass but not enough to actually require a significant investment from the developers. I heard months ago that the DLC was all essentially finished by the time the base game released and that kind of business practice drives me crazy even if it is more efficient for them. By the way, I watched a few videos from your channel years ago and am glad to see you're still at it. I have only been doing this for a few months and know it's not the easiest thing to do. Even if you dont agree with everything I say in the video, I think its cool you even saw it.

I was never the type of person that complained about things like climbing towers in Far Cry to begin with, in fact I think FC4 is better than FC3 just because they're more or less the same but one has more guns/better graphics, so adding a jetpack to the mix with the towers made them entertaining for me, I always found hurk funny, nor did I have any problems with the added weapons. Yea they're over powered but, don't use them? I like having the option when I want to goof around a bit but I'm not being forced to use them by any means. Yea, I've been around a while. It's my job more or less so I think it's easier to stay around when that's the case.

To each his own. There is a lot in the Martian DLC that I object to simply on principle and when meshed in with gameplay decisions I dislike it leaves a very negative impression on me. Stacking it even further against what the potential of that specific DLC could have been, with its premise being so wildly outlandish from the start, it just all felt quite lazy and became a chore after the first half. I can see why you may like it, just like I enjoyed the Vietnamese one and you didnt - different strokes for different folks. I think a good point of unity is that the entire trilogy could have been far better, even if it had been condensed down into a single, outstanding mini campaign.

think the zombie DLC was done in the map editor my the Ubisoft DEV kids.. it was a joke same with the other 2.. Players are going to make a better one in the map editor then the one you pay for how that work .. its not good when players us the map editor and make better maps and story then them .. wish I can get my money back but thats not going happen..

They should have just dropped a Blood Dragon 2... Would have been such more nicer. This game got stale. Mars DLC weapons are still overpowered, the other DLC Weapons are just worst versions of weapons already in the game. If they would have made a Zombie Open World Hope County (Something like Undead Nightmare) then it would be fun! This is so lazy...

For the Quinn! While people continue to buy it, they’ll continue to push the limits, FFXV was another classic example, maybe 3 hours of dlc,and the horrid multiplayer which is dead as a dodo now, then release the crown package and expect people to purchase the rest of the base game.
