When your mom wants to give something to Dilip, let her. Before leaving the house, add more money to her wallet so she won't feel diminished, and her dignity and happiness will remain intact. As parents reach a certain age, they often feel a desire to help others. Think of the blessings and happiness she is giving to Dilip. In return, God will surely reward her with the peace and joy that come from helping others. I know you help Dilip a lot, which is evident, but those blessings are coming to you. That's why I believe your mom should also experience the joy of helping others. I loved the camaraderie between you two. She's truly exceptional, and her humor is still top-notch.
