@@dmgCH3CK People don't hate SAO specifically, they just hate Kirito. Alicization War of Underworld was so well received by non SAO fans mostly because there was another Main Character that wasn't Kirito and it made the show much more interesting

I’ll be honest when you said sap went to shit at episode 14 I had to look it up. And I agree, episode 14 return was pretty bad and the alo arc only had a couple of good scenes, not episode, scenes. Although I think that season 2 was good.

"The first 13 episodes of SAO were good" No, the first 7 were good, though somewhat lacking in cohesion. The following 6 episodes were nothing but pandering and asspulls galore. The second arc was a mistake in and of itself GGO was okay overall, though it also had some stupid, unnecessary BS, like that filler epispde were generic dandy dude tried to hit on an NPC and got rejected. Alternative was pretty decent and had the least to do with SAO out of all of these Alicization was pretty goshdarn good for the first 10 episodes or so, after that it somewhat tapered off for a few episodes story-wise, then it seemed like it was getting a hold of itself before crumbling down into good old asspullery. Just like the old times.

I don't think the first few episode are good, I just think that people see the potential of where the show could have gone in those first few episodes. The first few episodes were just good enough that you could see what the writer wanted.

It's only when Kirito becomes hackerman, that removes the stakes from the series and therefore making any "progress" useless. Dont misunderstand me, I dislike this series more than the next guy, but won't allow people to call it complete dogshit when there was actually a good foundation.
