In Coder's defense, the whole countries thing probably changed some time in the last 20 years. Back in the 90s, at least, my school taught that Australia was the only country to also be a continent.

Actually there are like 5 different continental models, in english and germanic speaking countries, also India, China and Pakistan, Oceania Continent is called Australia Continent. In Latin America, ex-french and portugues colonies, and european countries with romances languages (spain, france, portugal, etc) it is know as Oceania

It literally lists Australia as a continent but clarifies that different "systems" (I'm assuming mostly countries) count continents differently. There is even an entire article for the "Australia (continent)" to read. So the answer without having to rely on empirical evidence or shitty guesswork is this: Australia *is* a continent and has always been a continent ever since the word "continent" was defined. You can replace "Australia" with "Oceania" but that changes nothing. Both are a continent because the country Australia exists. Without Australia you wouldn't have any "main continuous expanses of land" on the Australian plate, so neither Oceania nor Australia would be a continent.

Unpopular opinion, i play 1 unchained whailing in my going second unchained deck. Cause i can search it if i want and i can activate it the same turn, after i set it back with sarama. It helps me clear the oponents board easier. The traps dont help me in that case.

Wailing becomes much better if you play a very control build with Skill Drain and Mystic Mine (for budget players) since it can turn them off whenever you like. In both Coder's builds (DPE and Heavenly Prison) it just works as an extra name for Sarama, but isn't as useful as the traps. I like Wailing as well, but mostly in "stun" builds.

Judge question! Player 1 has Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer as the only card on their field. Player 2 has Zeus and 1 set back row. CL1 DPE, selects itself and Zeus as not-targets CL2 Zeus, send all other cards on the field to the yard. How does the effect of the CL1 DPE resolve? I was told it would resolve without destroying the Zeus, because it cannot destroy a card on both sides of the field.

First off, DPE doesn't select the targets on activation. With that out of the way, because DPE says "You can destroy both 1 card you control AND 1 card on the field" you have to be able to destroy card of your own if you want to destroyer another card on th field. The word "AND" doesn't let you only resolve part of the effect. IF DPE said "also" instead of "and", you could still destroy the Zeus.

Yes but not for the reason you think Ash specifically says "A card or effect is activated that includes any of the following", Shaddoll Fusion includes a deck touching effect, even if its not live or being used, the card was activated and the card includes a deck touchy Judgement of Anubis says "Activates an effect that WOULD destroy Spells/Traps", so it fails to the same ruling that blocks Stardust Dragon from munching on things like Snipe Hunter, I do believe it could block Lightning Storm IF they declared Spells & Traps however because the effect is declared at activation, rather then having a "will it won't it?" behavior like Snipe Hunter's dice roll

Knowing the rules of the game isn't the same as knowing the way the game is played, there's a lot of judgement calls and mental that needs to be learned that doesn't boil down to rulings and interactions, but rather more abstract things you build an intuition and internal ruleset for, as well as the finesse of finetuning a deck, and that intuition and ruleset varies by deck He's definitely a solid player, but its unlikely he has the expertise to truly blow his way to the top

Totally unrelated to the video, but, not to the channel. I have a ruling question...maybe for your next Q&A ruling video. Why can the banished (by Crossout Designator) Floowandereeze monster can activate (chain block) when you normal summon a Winged Beast? I don´t seem to find any ruling about this. Hope you can help me explaining the reason behind it, because, EDO Pro seems to let me do it, but, playing physically on tournaments, it would be very easy to loose for a ruling misunderstanding. Love your content man!

Australia the continent and Australia the country are not the same. Continent Australia is bigger than Country Australia therefore, they do no equate. Also continents are a political and cultural construct, the real thing it was based on (tectonic plates) is very different. The 7 tectonic plates (in no particular order) are, Eurasian, African, Pacific, Antarctic, South American, North American and Indo-Australian.

@@cristianangeli5878 Well the definition of continent is "one of the world's continuous expanses of land" and Oceania is not a continuous expanse of land. It's over 1000 islands. Although this also gets into Europe and Asia vs Eurasia. Eurasia should be considered one continent because they share a land mass. So many geographers consider them one instead of two. I think the answer to both Eurasia and Oceania may be complicated. What may be considered a continent by a geographers will be different than a continent by society.

Zombie world isn't mask of restrict, it specifically says "You cannot Tribute Summon....", and Tribute Doll specifies "Treated as a Tribute summon", so specifically the action of Tribute Summoning is blocked, not just tributing monsters
